1 Chapter 1
The students in the bus were surprised .What was he doing here when he had a brand new luxury car which he passionately bragged about ?They didn't notify him though about the idea just created their own ideas while he listened to his headsets not having a care for the world.How could she go just be gone just like that with no guarantee of coming back over the summer something bad happend .They were going home listening to Clouds recommendations and judging his taste in music ,Abby looked calm and humble as usual and well Carlos was having the time of his life so much that they hadn't noticed the car coming towards them and his car was destroyed along with his life .He could never forgive himself for what had happend to Abby that she is the one who deserves to be here not him she was an angel and now she was gone. His mother was worried so was his friends and girlfriend but he kept on reassuring them everything was fine even though deep down inside he knew he missed her .He got off the bus with the other students and headed for his own class ignoring his friends call he noticed his friend had a new car and was now bragging about it.He observed his school looking if there had been anything that had changed, new trees from the Earth Day event ,new students fresh from middle school along with the students he noticed a slim figure wearing a lavender gymdress with a white t-shirt underneath and a lavender headband to match she had long black hair that reminded him of Abby when she had encircled her body to look at the view of the school he was shocked her eyes her lips her face everything resembled that of Abby he called for her as he approached the human but she disappeared making him seem maniacal in front of his peers as they investigated the man who had been crying outloud .His friends approached him his girlfriend kneeling across from him worried about what had just happend
"What is it Carlos?"
she asked with a soft tone
"I saw her i saw Abby "
"Carlos Abby passed away two months ago remember ?"
He disappointedly nodded although that girl was still vivid and seemed human he would have to accept it
"Where were you we had been waiting for you?"
"I dont have a car and my mother will only be fetching me afterschool "
"No need i will drive you "
Sky said feeling pity for his friend they headed to school awaiting on the first day jitters and what would be going on
"So I'm holding a camp party next month"
Charlie alerted his friends getting another cookie into his mouth
"Camp party ?"
"Yes it makes sense my mother said .."
"Well Mrs Kale is sometimes much like her son "
"Hey"
Charlie yelled at Sky hitting him for talking about his mother like that
"This is why you will never have a girlfriend and why your relationship with Lilly will not happen "
The boys all laughed looking at the cealing as they closed their eyes Charlies harsh words towards Sky .Ginger laughed eveb more not regretting join this group they may be porpular but they were far from being narcissist bastards they were actually more friendly and welcoming than her old group which only involved gossiping about other children of the school. New learners were targets
"I dont care about that anyway she said she wanted college dudes so the next girl on my list is someone less porpular and reserved she is in my history class and she is very calm and happy "
"Perfect girl for you Sky does she have a name because she sounds extinct or maybe an alien "
"Her name is Juliet Burmix and she is really nice "
"Juliet i have art with her she is sweet and thoughtful "
Ginger commented placing her arm around Carlos one and squeezing him back into reality he was daydreaming for a while
"You Ok?"
She asked him
"Yes good I just cant get over what I saw it was her I promise you"
"Than I believe you are you coming today ?"
"Yeah where are your parents?"
"Both working tonight well my mother has a night shift and my father I dont know when he will return "
"Well ok I'll be coming "
"and I'll be waiting "
The day flew by and now Carlos had just reached Gingers home she came out wrapped in a blanket the weather seemed chilly she entered the car and tried to get warm again
"You good?"
"Yeah never better "
"My mother wants me to leave the state after I've graduated said since im interested in travelling i can go study any language i wanted to master in its her way of sending me away "
"You dont have to go if you dont want to "
"That's a boy talking and not actually someone who genuinely wants to advice me"
"Its not a boy it's someone that loves you that actually wants to help you because even though I love you I can't be the reason you give up on your dreams "
"I love you "
"I love you more"
They kissed like they never had before both in their own disasters but once again as the night ends all they can do is be there for each other
