1 Just something I wrote when I was 12

That day I felt trapped, unable to breath, like someone had clenched their hands tightly around my thoughts. All my thoughts and surroundings had found a way to seep out of my mind, unable to catch them before they floated away in the cool winter breeze. All I managed to grab was the long white bottom of an ice blue dress that swayed with the wind. When I looked up I saw a girl.

She had green eyes that sparkled like the mid morning mist blown by a soft-cool breeze, but at the same time filled with frosted tears and sorrow. Her hair was as bright as the sun, glowing and glittering with every movement. She walked towards me, every step as light and silent as the last. With the last graceful step she swooped down handing me a mirror.

I looked, trying to remember why it felt familiar. Its glass was almost crystal with its luminescent sparkle. Its back shimmered as if gold flakes in the sky. As I studied the mirror I realized that the gold wasn't that of a sunrise, but one of a sad sunset.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror. The person looking back at me had a cold dark purple eye, like that of a galaxy sky but with less shimmer. If you took all stars but the sun out of the galaxy with more purple than blue you would get that eye shrouded by darkness with a glint of hope. The other eye was yellow with a luminescent sparkle almost the gold plating color of the mirror. If you took all stars but the sun out of the galaxy with more purple than blue you would get those eyes shrouded by darkness with a glint of hope. My hair fell grazing the mirror with silver that faded into a dark charcoal; just as rare as a silver fox.

My skin was paler than usual . . . wait what was the usual color? What was my name? Where am I? Well I do know that I'm in a cabin up in the mountains, but what mountains? How did I get here? Why is this mirror so familiar? Who is the green eyed lady? Better yet, who am I? Questions came flowing into my head at a thousand miles per hour, like a sand storm pelting my brain with a million pieces of sand. My head was racing a mile a minute. Then the realization started to kick in . . . I lost my memories?

    "Um excuse me" I said.

"Me?" The girl with green eyes said.

"Yes, who else? Can you please tell me who you are?"I insisted.

"No. Sorry I can't do that yet, but what I can tell you my silver fox is that you are indeed a very special one." And with that last sentence she disappeared. Whisked away by the breeze as if she had faded into the mountain tops. The only information I got from that was that "I'm special"and a "silver fox". I don't know what made less sense what she told me or why she wouldn't explain anything. As my mind wondered I realized that sitting here pondering what just happened won't help. I gracefully grabbed the mirror just to fall trying to stick it in the satchel sitting close to a frosted over window in the distance. Inside the silver and charcoal tinted bag was: a map, a bottle of water, and a note that said: "If you want to know more seek the poems galore. If you want to know less seek under the shore where the poems is best.".

"What does that even mean? "Knowing less" from a poem that's "best"? She inquired. As a person with great curiosity she ran down the side of the mountain with lightning speed. Her curiosity got the best of her when because of the great speed she gained she came tumbling down the mountain side. She was at the base of the mountain with what felt like years because of the aching pain from the bruises she had just inquired. When she arrived she hollered with great disappointment and felt discouraged over a trail in front of her that had to be at least ten miles long.

"Why does the universe hate me? Take away my memories "surely she can handle it" and to make it all worse they then do this, make me wait what will feel like a million years just for another stupid poem that won't make any sense!"

Not willing to give up just yet, she dashed with great speed trying to get to the next clue. As she raced down the trail she got tired and managed to sit on a sleeping mama bear. The bear was a sun golden red with green eyes reminding her of the lady at the cabin thing. Mrs. bear decided she didn't like being ignored so to snap her out of her trans slashed the side of her left arm leaving behind three deep claw marks. The bear finally gave up when she clawed her a few more times and decided she was to far away from her cubs. Each marking as bloody and ravishing as the last is what nobody will think when she's found dead on the side of the trial. After getting worked up about the situation she stumbled over many rocks landing on a ground hive of hornets. The wild ferocious beasts flew swiftly try to sting her as much as possible. There graceful wings gliding and glittering with as much beauty as the night lights sparkle of the moon. Although their beauty was great their personalities weren't they didn't give up till she tripped and fell down the side of what looked like a very deadly cliff. She was pretty sure the main reason they gave up was because of all the time in the chase she had clumsily tripped or angered another species of insect or animal. When she came to, she was lying at the bottom of the cliff. As she looked over herself all she could see was a girl that got thrown in a hurricane and in the process was scraped and banged up by the tossed debris. She studied her body deciding that it looked like giants had just played football and the ball was her, being slashed and scraped each time they dropped her on the rocky ice bitten ground. The ground was sharp cutting her feet as she walked on the porcupine ground that felt like a blazing fire but at the same time a blazing blizzard. She had spent to much time going with the flow of the breeze and decided to start looking for the "stupid" poem. The bottom of the cliff led off to a shoreline of the Coconowa ocean that much she knew because of her classes at Nagislayers academy.

"Wait . . . WHY DO I KNOW THIS?" She questioned. A wave of theories crashed and thrashed in her mind. The ideas bounced around her mind till the tide came in with a quiet splash. She decided it was too early to try to process every emotion and theorie. Instead of taking the time to think through everything she acted as if a spider spinning each thread of emotions and theories into a big web in the back of her mind.

"Okay.  Ocean of the breeze those of the mist find the shadows lurking the poem that awaits on the shore has a bed of galore." The whispering gibberish she spoke brought her comfort and felt natural although she had no clue it wasn't normal English. A voice spoke back although very faint.

"What awaits on the shore is a bed of galore look to the southeast and you shall find a bed of galore poem you should keep in mind." The voice was one that floated with the breeze a comforting shadowy outline of a wisp appeared but only for a minute or so.

She made the decision to follow what the wisp had said because she had a feeling it knew her in the past. She headed southeast thinking there would be some type of hint or clue along the way.

"Although I thought there would be some type of hint or clue along the way I never thought it would be so direct."

There was a sign posted on a dangly tree that had long golden limbs with blue-purple jewels at the ends almost like it was crying. The sign said: "Go left from here follow the trail of blue moon to site the poem you have in mind. Beware the trail is weary but as long as you stay with the blue moon in mind you should be safe from the trouble behind."

She did as the note told her and went left with the trail as she went deeper into the forest she found an open field.

"Well, WHAT DO I DO NOW TELL ME UNIVERSE?!?! Oh~, wait didn't the sign say something about following the blue moon and I'll be fine. Okay. WHERE ARE YOU BLUE MOON COME OUT?!?!

"You should keep in mind a bed of galore you shall find. Seek what you want to see from above for the blue moon only comes out with your love." A wisp said faintly although this time blue instead of white.

"Okay. So what you're saying is that I have to think of thing I love. WELL HOW CAN I DO THAT WITH NO MEMORIES OF WHAT I LOVE?" Whispers of what sounded like an argument was in the distance after her last comment. After that she could hear what they said because it became loud and distraught.

"WHAT THE HECK WATER WE AREN'T SUPPOSED TO CONFUSE THE HECK OUT OF HER WITH STUPID RIDDLES WE ARE SUPPOSED TO GUIDE HER!" The red wisp in the distance said.

"WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT FIRE I WAS JUST DOING WHAT AIR DID!" The blue wisp said to counterattack the red ones comment.

"Okay you just follow the moonlight based on where I/water goes." They said in unison in a pleasantly calm way.

"Okay. Then lead the way blue wisp or should I call you water?" She said in an unnaturally calm way.

"Okay. You can call me water and this is fire I will be your guide." Water said in a proud kind of way.

"Okay wait . . . I thought that both me and you get to guide her?" Fire said in a droopy-hurt way that makes everyone  want to comfort her.

"Fine but it's rude to pull a mind trick on me with words." Water said in a troubled-guilty tone.

I followed the wisp to an underground cave they led me down a hall that had kids drawings and a weird languages writing. The cave felt familiar and the weird writing slowly morphed into readable words. Then it all went downhill from there literally I fell on the ground as everything clicked into place and as the memories came back I fell into a coma.

I felt trapped, unable to breath, like someone had let go of their clenched hands that were tightly around my memories . All my thoughts and memories had found a way to seep back into my mind. When I woke up I found all my spirits with me or of what you think is three and are wisps.

My name is Scarlett Evergreen. I'm the daughter of the rulers of my country Astobeck. Up in the Yunibeck mountains I was in my families cottage and the green eyed girl Rose Evergreen is my older sister. The academy I mentioned is my school were I study every day. The beach was the private royal area were we go on vacation sometime. The cave was the place I went as a kid with my five spirits fire, water, air, earth, and lightning. They are elements that I can talk to through a power called Aurabesh where the user can talk to an element and use that element as a power source. For instance if you have a fire spirit you can shoot fire out of your hands but you can only speak to spirits of your element. With me I am I guess you can say special because I can talk and use all the elements and even though I'm royal doesn't mean everyone has all five elements. The highest anyone other than me anyone has is three out of the five spirits. So that's why when my sister found out I had all five elements she did what my mom did to my sister. My sister Rose used an extracting crystal to take all my memories to see how strong the bond was between my spirits and me. Then used a draining mirror to make it hard for my spirits to help and speak to me. That why the mirror was familiar because I had seen it use on my sister. My mother's name is Queen Elly Evergreen and my father King Ezekiel Evergreen. Lastly my skin was its normal color pail white. She said in disgust. Ha narrating your own story is fun.
