As the day arrived, he was overjoyed and went forward to do what he and any other person needed to do that day. He gets his life changer that day. But, it will be in the future that no one is aware of or can predict it. Without being aware of the universal plot that he would be the center of, Ryan leads his life. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I am NanotechPikachu, the author of this novel. Chapter 20: Another Diary Entry!

Ryan asked in his head, "Status," as he turned to face the ephemeral screen. At the EXP, he was content and was grateful that Sarah had defeated the adversary because his mana supply was low.

-----------------------------------------------------------

I'm back with my beloved diary after a protracted writing break. I've been away for a while, and you are greatly missed.

Before I go any farther, let me briefly describe what happened the day I witnessed a beheading. Aliza's executioner was none other than Sarah. Her merciless actions pretty much surprised me.

It was also the first time I had ever seen something so horrific. I may have used a gun to kill some individuals, though. So, there hasn't been much blood lost, and I'm fine. Even if I had killed using magic, I would never have done it in that manner.

I almost passed out when I saw the headless body laying a metre away. Yes, I actually vomited my entire breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other meals. For about fifteen minutes, I continued to throw up. You might as well have been viewing a tainted waterfall. I even coughed up blood when I was about to be flung to the ground.

Fortunately, Sarah incarnated the body as soon as she noticed me throwing up. This prompted me to return earlier even though it was only a 15-minute wait.

The thing that surprised me was how Sarah acted. She never assisted me in killing someone, let alone did it in a terrible manner.

I never imagined she'd act in such a way. And as a man, I thought a lovely, delicate girl to be nice and peaceful. But remember not to judge a book by its cover, as the phrase goes. The same thing occurred here as well, shattering my emotions or beliefs like glassware.

I tried to ask her why she acted impulsively, but all I got in response was, "Time isn't right. You'll be able to tell when you're powerful enough. If I hadn't murdered him then, you would soon suffer a catastrophe. But given that there will be several others of his like, I am confident that the catastrophe has not been avoided."

The enigmatic response, certainly! Even worse, I can't even coerce her into responding lest I ruin my reputation. Additionally, I don't force people to reveal information they don't want to. This concludes the whole account of yesterday's events.

Currently, I'm sitting in my room and writing this journal. The moon is bright, and the sound of trees singing is audible. As if summoning me, they speak into my ears. The aroma of leaves revitalises and inspires me. me. Right now, I'm admiring the stunning starry sky. In the glittering sky,

I can see myself. The version of myself that, in the future, will soar My goals are as broad as the universe. Aim for the moon, as they say. You might hit a star if you miss. I'm setting my sights high while also being aware that they won't be achieved.

Isn't it ironic how that is? aiming high while being negative about your chances of success. People may find this ridiculous, but it's a philosophy—or whatever it's called—that I developed over my life.

If you promise yourself that you would succeed but fail instead, it will tear your heart and make you desirous of taking on new challenges. On the other hand, if you think you'll lose but end up winning, you'll be incredibly thrilled, and even if you lose, your willpower won't be compromised.

If I were to use an example, I would state that I am absolutely certain that I would receive a 95 on my maths exam. Therefore, if I had a heartfelt belief that I would receive 95 but instead received 85, I would feel lost, dejected, and my will would be broken.

On the other hand, if I think I'll only receive 80 even though I know I should get 95, I'd feel better if I got 85, and I'd be on the moon if I got 95. In other words, you can have self-assurance and believe in yourself, but there are times when it's preferable to let yourself down for the larger good.

---

(A/N: The above is my own saying and I am a living example of how it works as I always think low of myself and my friend Harry(Pseudonym, as he doesn't wish to reveal real name) is the living example of how heartbroken he was when his hopes crashed as he score lowest in biology where he expected to score full marks.)

---

Anyway, it's late at night, I believe I've covered everything, and you already know what I went through and how my life is. The moon urges me to steal the show and prove myself to be the best, while the stars offer me encouragement to keep going.

Oh, dear diary, I hope that I will continue to live till I fulfil my goals and discover true love.

Life without love is dull, but who knows what the future has in store for me? I will thus stop here. See you when I write after I return from any great adventure or when I need to relieve myself.

Thank you for listening to me.

Your transgressive pal,

Ryan.

Yo! Nano here.

Firstly, let me tell y'all not to skip this note as it's damn important and the changes will take place from the next chapter onward.

This is the end of the first ARC of the volume, and the second ARC is completely different. My aim for the 1st ARC was to introduce MC and the world, which I did, albeit not well. The second ARC is like introducing a person or maybe people who have future uses and are important characters

So, in the next chapter, our MC is going to die. I mean literally, but, for the time being, his story is ended. He will be back in the future; as to when, only time will tell.

Again, the next chapter will be the story of a different person in a different... Welp, I was going to tell a spoiler. So, it's a different person.

I know it makes people mad when the story switches characters, as I myself know how much people hate it but this is important, or else I would have never done this.

You readers are my support, and hence, if you ever feel that I did something wrong by doing this or that I am unnecessarily elongating it, I will end this character story sooner. I cannot fully cancel this part, but I will diminish the chap numbers.

By the time you are reading this, I will have already written some chapters, but you can say if you don't like them, as I will end them soon if that's your opinion.

I am not going to bore you to death any more, as I am stopping here. See you all in the future. I hope you all support me with comments at least.

With warm regards,

NanotechPikachu
