Soldier of Choice

All Tuya felt for a moment was sinking. Sinking into cold wet arms, water surrounding her, and it felt wonderful and painful at the same time. That was how she knew this was death. Death always felt like an amazing release and a painful embrace. However, her heart felt tears, pain, and knowledge of what death would make her leave behind. 

This was new, she did not remember feeling like this before. Then she started to panic in her head that she was going to forget. She would forget him, was this what happened when something traumatic like this occurred? Losing your mate was painful and Tuya could not move, nor could she see. It was all just black nothing. A deafening silence that compressed her ears.
