46 Small Moments

That long night turned into a long few days. Kendra was exhausted, she'd been combing the city, and they had caught a werewolf. Just a loner passing through, or so he claimed, but he was shipped off in hours of being caught before any could help him.

It was starting to snow again and the wind was getting bad out here. However she kept moving and found her way through the city to the side closer to the mountains and went in there. In the shelter of the trees it wasn't so bad. However snow made its way down and outside of the trees it was growing into a blizzard again. Maybe she could just hide here for a few hours and tell them she needed rest from the storm. She wasn't going to find anything. Though she was out here for another reason too.

'You look tired.' she glanced up from the boulder she had decided to sit on waiting. Zani was there and Xerxes moved as well coming toward her and sat down next to the boulder in the fresh powder. He looked drained, even more tired than she did.
