Riceballs_25 : Hi! And welcome to TMYG's first ever interview event! With me, your host and author, Riceballs_25!

Riceballs_25: Finally, after nearly a two hundred chapter wait, we are here and ready to ask and get insight on the personalities of the main cast of the beloved webnovel 'The Mate You Give'.
And joining us today are the male leads themselves by popular demand! So, without further ado, allow me to introduce to you, Davien Moore And Kian Saint!
(Enter Davien and Kian. They sit next to each other on the long silver couch. Davien is dressed in a charcoal grey suit, and Kian is sporting a white turtle neck, brown overcoat and black high waist trousers.)
Riceballs_25: *Gush* Is it getting hot in here? Or is it just you?
Davien: (Chuckles and runs hand through hair) I can make it hotter if you want.
Riceballs_25: Oh my, a charmer both on and off the pages. I expect nothing less from the second highest ranked character from the novel. With a total number of sixty two thousand, six hundred and ninety votes, it's not a stretch to say you definitely have your way of penetrating your reader's heart.
(Winks)
Kian: *Coughs*
Riceballs_25: Yes, and sitting next to our daring Alpha, is his Omega mate, currently ranked as the number one favorite character from TMYG. With a total number of seventy three thousand, four hundred and ten votes! Kian Saint.
Kian: Thank you author for that introduction, although I would appreciate it if you don't give this brute too much screen time. I'm afraid he'll say something unorthodox.
Davien: Don't worry, I'll behave, but I can't say I'll be this tame at the hotel later on.
Kian: *Face palms* Why do I even bother?
Riceballs_25: *Ahem* Before we begin, is there anything you would love to tell your readers reading this at home and work?
Kian: Thank you for supporting the story, and I hope that you read on to the end.
Davien: I give a mean blow-
Kian: *slaps his shoulder* Don't you even Davien Avrum Moore!
Davien: I thought we agreed you can only use that name while I'm ramming you against the...
Riceballs_25: Well, I can see that you two have an established chemistry, just like in the novel itself. You must get on well with each other.
Kian: *Sighs* Hardly. He's a very headstrong person, and won't take any slight changes added to the novel last minute. And because of that, I have to adjust my character to suit his.
Riceballs_25: That must be challenging, but you are every much capable of a character to pull that off.
Davien: I prefer to be authentic to my character, and I personally like my role.
Kian: *Rolls eyes and crosses leg* We can all clearly see why.
Davien: *Blows kiss*
Kian: *Hurls*
Riceballs_25: You two certainly have won over the fans, although sometimes the balance of this wavers. I think it's interesting to note how the popularity ranking shifts from time to time. This question coming from me, how do you two cope with being number one character every now and then?
Davien: To me, the ranking reflects our choices and decisions in the story we're telling, and whenever I get voted highly, it adds an extra boost of confidence that I made the right choice.
Riceballs_25: And when you get voted second to Kian? What do you do?
Davien: I try to reset-
Kian: He gets drunk and calls me at one am to bitch over it.
Davien: *scoffs* I fucking don't.
Kian: I have call logs and chats to confirm this.
Riceballs_25: Oh my, I'll have to take you on your word on that. Anyway, there has been some rumours that TMYG will have a second part to it? Can you confirm those for your readers?
Kian: The producers are still contemplating the idea, so we cannot give a definite response.
Davien: To work with him again? That would be interesting to say the least.

Riceballs_25: We're back from the break and here with me are some questions sent to us by fans of the novel. To avoid spoiling, questions regarding future events will be censored to the largest extent.
Kian: That's fair, we wouldn't want to ruin the novel for new readers.
Riceballs_25: And to the lovely readers, you are free to send in more questions like these if you'd like to see more interviews. Now, onto the first question, coming from our beloved fan ALLIWANT12706.
ALLIWANT12706: "I would love to know what type of scents both of you have."
Davien: Damn, ALLIWANT12706, you sound fucking sexy.
Kian: Focus, brute.
Davien: You know you sound the sexiest to me.
Kian: *Sigh*
Davien: When it comes to Kian's scent, there's a name I've given it, because it compromises of quite a lot of different scents. Likewise, he has one for me.
Riceballs_25: That's interesting.
Davien: For Kian's scent, it's Moonlit Serande. The stronger scents are soft lavender, vanilla orchid, and warm amber. Whilst the less distinct scents are crisp apples, bergamot zest and smooth sandalwood.
Kian: As for Davien, I call his Midnight Temptation. His dominant scent includes, Black peppers, smokey vetiver, and patchouli. The less dominant scents are leather, warm amber and Bergamot.
Riceballs_25: Alright, next question. This one is coming from another well loved fan, Notthatkas
Notthatkas: "Does Kian Enjoy Cooking?"
Davien: Thanks Nott for asking. Well, if Kian had grown up in a more loving home, I can say with all certainty he would've become a chef. He's well organized and loves to be in control of things.
Kian: *smiles* *Ahem* Just as the brute says, I do enjoy cooking very much, I just don't have enough time for it.
Riceballs_25: I swear, when I catch the slimy author who gave you a sad backstory, I'll have them pay for it!
Kian: *Rolls eyes* Right.
Riceballs_25: This question here comes from Chesssman, one of our popular readers. And it's specifically for you Kian.
Kian: I'm honoured to respond, let's hear it.
Davien: Asskisser.
Chesssman: "Hi Kian, I must say I love your character...It portrays a strong omega and I'm proud. Here goes my question: You said something about Ash****ld harming the body of the host, is it Ash****ld that's ****** you and what's the story behind the sc*r on your ****?"
Riceballs_25: For those wondering why the censorship, it's because this question is about future events and a spoiler. Now Kian, would you like to answer?
Kian: Well, I cannot give a straightforward response to avoid spoilers, and as for the sc*r, that's something you'll have to read and find out. And thank you for loving my character, you are a very special reader to me.
Riceballs_25: Well, we've taken up quite a lot of time with this interview and we have barely touched any of the questions. So I'm afraid this interview will have to go into a next part.
Davien: So fast? That's faster that Kian's stamina in...
Kian: I see you'll be leaving this building alone tonight.
Davien: Don't be that way babe-
