In response to her vague statement, Kian slapped her hands off his shoulder, he rose to his feet and announced, "I'll be inside, no one disturb me." Then went sharply into one of the inner rooms, shutting himself off from the rest of us.

"I'll go check on…" Louis was saying while getting up, intending to go after Kian. But I interjected, "Don't bother, he's not mad he just has a meeting to get to."

"Meeting?" Oliver echoed.

"Nine pm, he usually has someone he communicates with most nights in a quiet space, so just leave him alone." I explained, rising to my feet.

"Where are you headed? We're just about to start downing some brandy." Louis pointed out, gesturing at the paper bags of alcohol next to him.

"To warm up the car, we're going back to the hotel after this." I explained and stepped out the door. Considering Oliver and Louis would be living here with Valerie, Oliver let me take his truck back with him to the hotel.
