Certain I had made my point clear, I got off him and went for the Ice cream. I wasn't sure which flavor he would've wanted so I decided to get him one of all the flavors they had.

But when I turned around, Kian wasn't sitting in the living room, I darted my gaze to the stairs and watched him retire early without saying a word back to me.

"Shit." I cursed, this wasn't working, it was like the first time we met all over again, and while I tried to understand him, Ralph was running thin on his patience.

Considering he still couldn't sense Kian's wolf, Ralph had no reason aside sexual ones to put up with Kian's attitude. It was thanks to me blocking him out that things ran this smoothly.

But I highly doubted tomorrow would this easy, not with Kian facing the elders tomorrow, and about the kid too.
