9 Slaughtering-Dagger Intent; 10 Plates of Meat For Dinner!
"Uggghhh!" Xiao Ying woke up in the middle of the floor, his mind groggy. It had been an two or three hours since he had fell unconscious due to the exhaustion of his mind.
"What happened? The last thing I remember was trying to cultivate….did I fail? Or did I really enter the first realm?"
Suddenly, a system panel appeared.

Host was able to break through and enter the Foundation Establishment Realm before losing consciousness. Host also completed the quest titled "Embarking On the Road To Cultivation Part Two" and is now at the Early Physique Tempering Phase.
Because host has reached the Early Physique Tempering Phase, the perception stat, the strength stat, agility stat, and vitality stat has increased by an increment of 5. Host can expect another increase in stats when host reaches the Mid Physique Tempering Phase.
System automatically allocated the four stat points host was rewarded to the absorption stat, perception stat, intelligence stat, and vitality stat as well as the skill point host was rewarded to Dagger Arts to level it up as to host's wish to keep everything balanced and get stronger. Host should be able to wield a dagger more proficiently now.
For the reward surrounding intents, system will now explain intents.
Intents are physical and spiritual representations of one's understanding of something. For example, if someone proficient in the use of swords understands an aspect of the sword to a certain extent, they could potentially birth an intent, or physical and spiritual representation of that aspect.
For host, the system will automatically transfer the required knowledge, but it is up to host to comprehend it and understand it.
The intents the host has the opportunity to learn is listed below; they naturally have to do with assassination.

Slaughtering-Dagger Intent-
Causes host's aura to feel bloody, or like host has partaken in many slaughters or killed many people(spiritual representation). Causes host's dagger to be sharper, faster, and more precise. Also causes host's Dagger Arts to flow even better(physical representation).
Blood-Poison Intent-
Causes host's aura and blood to feel poisonous, or like it could corrode anything that comes into contact with it(spiritual representation). Causes host's blood to have a corrosion affect in which host can decide what is corroded and what it is not(physical representation). However host cannot make full use of this intent yet as host is not proficient with poison.
Shadow-Illusion Intent-
Causes host's aura to feel chilly and illusory, as if it's one with the shadows(spiritual representation). Causes any illusions host casts to be harder to detect and harder to escape(physical representation). However, host cannot make full use of this intent yet as host is not proficient with illusions.

After Xiao Ying digested what the system explained to him, he tried to decide which intent he wanted learn.
It wasn't really a hard choice as he could only make full use of one of those options.
'Slaughtering-Dagger Intent.' He decided after a few seconds of thinking about it.
Suddenly, a dark and chilly energy entered his body out of nowhere and then his mind, causing a huge influx of information.
Digesting, understanding, and comprehending this information took several hours to do. It was around dinner time before he finished.
Opening his eyes and extending his perception, he realized his aura had turned a dark red and that it exuded a feeling akin to slaughters, causing one to shiver and their blood to run cold.
'I've got to do something about my aura. The cultivation manual listed an aura suppression technique; let's see if that'll work.' Xiao Ying suddenly remembered.
Following the directions of the technique of the manual in his mind exactly, he managed to suppress his aura. Completely.
The aura-suppression technique explained that its use was to completely suppress one's aura and hide themselves completely so as to be able to sneak up on their target and assassinate them without the target knowing how they died and without being caught before or after.
'It works like wonders; no wonder it was listed in a manual granted by the system. Now, however, I need to go eat dinner, finally!' Xiao Ying was hungry.
Going downstairs and into the dining room, he joined the others for dinner.
Looking up, Daniel smiled and said, "We felt you enter the Foundation Establishment Realm this morning; good work, young man."
"Yeah, congratulations, Xiao Ying," everyone told him.
"Thank you, thank you. Apologies if i woke you all up."
"Oh, no worries. We all cultivate at night. As cultivators, we do not need to sleep as often, or even eat or drink as often as non-cultivators do," Dan answered for everyone.
"Oh okay," Xiao Ying commented.
Dan continued, "In fact, I even heard that once your cultivation reaches a certain point, sleeping, eating, and drinking is like a hobby to some cultivators."
"That sounds awesome. Anyways, I'm going to need like 10 different plates because I'm starving," Xiao Ying laughed while rubbing his empty stomach. Suddenly, it growled, causing everyone to laugh with him.
This time, Xiao Ying found his place in between Elizabeth and Michael.
"So, meat, meat, and more meat. Now this is the type of life I like living," Xiao Ying exclaimed.
Taking a bite of steak, he made a "mmm" sound as juices ran down his chin.
He turned toward Elizabeth and spoke, "We haven't really talked much since I've been here, so maybe we can hang out tomorrow or something and get know each other? No weird ideas, of course, I just want to be friends."
"Mhm, sure we can hang out tomorrow. Maybe we can go shopping? You don't mind helping me hold bags or anything like that, do you?" She asked.
"Oh course not. I can help, as long as we can have conversations here and there. I'm part of the family now, after all, right?"
"Damn, Xiao Ying! You've bulked up a little in muscle! You look almost as hot as me, my dude" Dan yelled.
"Mhm, thanks. My working out and entering the first realm did wonders." Xiao Ying decided to hide the details of his system.
"Now that you've started cultivation, maybe we can spar after dinner? I'm already at the Meridian Awakening Phase, but I'll hold back, I promise." Dan offered.
"You got it. I've been itching to try out my skills with the new dagger I've gotten as well as test out my strength now that I've started cultivating." Xiao Ying agreed.
"It's a deal, then."
After having a conversation with Dan, Xiao Ying focused solely on stuffing as much food into his mouth as he could; after all, he was starving.
On the table in front of him, about 10 plates were stacked up toward the ceiling before he got full.
It seems Xiao Ying kept to his word!
