"What do you mean?" Elliana asked when she saw him pacing in the room.

"I meant what I said, Princess. I am done pretending. Pretending that everything is fine, and I am not dying to kiss you right now," Sebastian whispered before he appeared right in front of her and cupped her cheeks.

"Please allow me. I beg you," Sebastian closed his eyes, the strain visible on his forehead as he inhaled deeply.

"I don't want to," Elliana whispered and looked away.

She didn't want to break from her resolution.

"You don't have to. It will be all on me. I will kiss you one-sided," Sebastian asked, and Elliana's lips twitched as she forced down a smile despite her anger.

"You do know that this is not how things work. You will be using MY lips to kiss me, right?" Elliana asked.
