Rex stepped inside Derrick's chambers and saw his seated on his chair.

"Greetings, Your Majesty."

He said with an emotionless expression on his face.

Derrick looked at him and grunted in acknowledgment.

Without any further exchange, he said directly for what he had called Rex in his chambers.

"I want you to marry soon. You should be at least engaged before your coronation ceremony as the next legal heir."

Rex frowned when he heard these words.

Marriage…he had not thought about marriage yet.

"I don't want to marry for now."

He said calmly but Derrick's eyes went cold when he heard this. He looked at his elder son and said authoritatively.

"Rex, this week, you still have the chance to choose a girl you like. If you didn't get engaged within this week, then it would be the nobles in court who will take this matter into their hands."
