41 Chapter 41. The heart of Panther

After making sure that there were no more guns, swords blades, explosives near spiderman, Superman flew back home.

Steve Rogers picked up his phone, and dialed a number.

"Steve?" A voice questioned with an African accent.

"Your suit and mask is bulletproof right?"

The weeks passed by quickly, the Avengers had assembled in Wakanda. The alien invasion was very close by and great minds had calculated the trajectory and speed, and found that the invasion would appear right above the African continent.

The whole world was preparing for the worst.

As such, all the Avengers had arrived in Wakanda, and stayed there during the last few days. Except for Superman.

He could fly there in less than a second if he wanted to, that's why he kept doing his thing, as normal.

In the streets of New York, the screens all showed the same news, updating the people of the invasion.

All of the globe had been warned, and all nations had prepared in case the aliens went past the Avengers. Every country had sent soldiers to Africa in preparation. And prepared to protect their own borders against aliens.

At first the citizens of earth were afraid of such a situation, but then Superman appeared on the news, and he made it clear that he would protect earth with all his power.

Just the fact that he had appeared created hope in the people.

Not only that, but there are also many people looking forward to the alien invasion because they knew Superman would protect them, they were excited by the fact that Superman would become the wall that kept those invaders out.

In many places on earth, people came together to cheerlead the Avengers in protecting peace on earth.

They held out signs that cheered for Superman, The Avengers or humanity in general. Hoping that they could stop the invasion.

Even the people in Branchville, had come together to cheerlead.

Uncle Mario, Aunt Mary, Samantha the clothes owner! Rosalie The gun shop owner, Laura the newbie, Tyler the Farmer, Mama Bear and Papa bear the fanliens, the mayor and many more from the population of Branchville.

All of them had come together to cheer and hope for peace on earth.

They all had alien masks and signs that said

"Go Aliens!"

"Screw the Avengers"

"Go green or go home!"

"We welcome you! Our green kings and queens! Rule us with an iron fist and spank us when we do bad, bad things!"

"Aliens, Please impregnate meeeee!"

"Finally real green aliens, and you want to fight them away!"

"Avengers are bad apples indeed, No, even apples are green, what are you, human colored?!"

They chanted for the aliens and opened their doors to welcome them.

The mayor even had a sign that said "As the mayor of Branchville, I offer an olive Branch to the aliens!"

Amongst the Collins family, stood a handsome young man with Glasses.

He had a sign that said "Go Go Green, F F Avengers!" His face was totally deadpan and he had been forced by his parents to do this.

Yes, the fact that even CK Rollings had joined a pro alien movement had shaken the news.

"Mom, isn't it inappropriate to make me do this?" Kevin had asked his mom a few days back, before the protest.

"Kevin, it's important to support your people!" Mama bear said.

"You have to understand Kevin. Superman is the Hero, people need. Kevin Collins, is the Pro-Alien we really want." His dad said with wisdom.

"Okay, okay, I get it, please stop." Kevin said with a tired voice. Being Superman was a heavy responsibility, but being the son of these two was even heavier.

As he walked from the room, he could hear his mom and dad whisper.

"To think that our son would not like aliens, do you think, praying for him and taking him to church will help?" Mama bear said worriedly

"Not loving the green? Please, that must be some kind of mental illness!" Papa Bear said as a matter of fact.

"Yes you're right... But no matter how different our son is, we will still love and accept him." Mama bear said supportingly.

"You're right Mama bear, he is our little miracle after all, but I do wonder, is this how other parents feel when they find out that their son is gay?"

"hmm that's a reasonable assumption."

'Mom, dad... why are you guys so extra?' Kevin thought painfully as he heard them across the house.

A few days later, when the Branchvillians were protesting and demonstrating. Kevin, heard that the enemy forces had arrived.

Mama Bear and Papa bear saw that their sons face got solemn, so they each put a hand on his shoulder.

"Go son, no matter what choices you make in life, even if it isn't green choices, or good choices, We will still love and support you!"

Kevin ran away, and took off his shirt that said "Boo avengers, Go Aliens!"

At Wakanda, the forces were on edge, ready for war.

The protection field had been set up, only allowing for certain passages.

"So... I'm only asking because the alien forces are here, not because of ulterior motives... but has Superman come back yet?" Spiderman couldn't help but to ask for the nth time.

Even though Black panther didn't show it, his ears also perked.

"No, not yet, but soon I hope." Captain America said.

"I hope as well." Spiderman said.

They were in an assembly room amde just for the avengers.

As for Superman, he had arrived in the King's chamber, hoping to find King T'Challa, but he only found Shuri, the sister of T'Challa.

"Superman, I'm very happy to see you again." She said, amused at his arrival.

"Nice to meet you again, where is T'Challa and the others?" He asked.

"They are..." She stopped as if she had thought of something.

"Follow me." She said, as she started walking out towards other rooms.

Superman felt that something was wrong but he didn't comment and followed her.

"This is his room, you can wait inside and I'll call him here." She said, for some reason she looked very mischievous.

"Okay... thanks." Superman tried not to be suspicious but his senses tingled.

As he opened his room and walked in, he was shocked at what he found.

The walls were filled with posters of him. The pillows had his face on them, the bed even had a body pillow of a genderbent versssssion of him!

There was even a pencase of his brand!

There were dolls and toys of him in boxes, Special edition!

He just took a step outside and closed the door.

In the avengers assembly hall, Shuri had arrived with a grin.

"Brother, I'm happy you finally have friends. Another one has arrived!" She said..

"SUPERMAN?" Spiderman asked slightly too excitedly.

"Yes, superman has arrived!" She confirmed.

"WHERE... ehem... Where is he, my sister?" T'Challa asked.

"Oh, I asked him to wait for you in your room." She said with the biggest grin.

All the Avengers saw T'Challa's face go so pale, that they thought he had walked the path of Michael Jackson.

He stood up, and ran towards his bedroom.

"What's going on?" The Avengers asked amongst themselves.

"You wouldn't understand." Spiderman said in understanding and worry for his fellow companion.

So I was planning on releasing two more chapters today, but I got busy.

So I just hurriedly wrote this chapter, Sorry if the quality is worse than what I usually write. But I felt like two chapters in a day is too little.
