26 Chapter 26: Arm wrestling the Asgardian weapon against the celestials!

The destroyer was standing there, shooting great beams of fire towards Superman.

Superman was engulfed by the destroyer's beam of flames, but soon two smaller laser beams started fighting back from Superman's eyes, pushing the great beam of flames back.

As the beams of laser and fire met, they created flames and heat that burned every organic matter as far as the eye could see.

Everything burnt up, leaving nothing but a black Burnt down environment. And for a second the flames had engulfed half of the planet. The Avengers were safe from it because they were on the other side of it, only feeling the temperature going up.

And in the middle of it, Superman and Destroyer were fighting it out. The destroyer, totally metallic looking and superman, in his holy, white and gold looking superman suit.

Superman felt that even though the punches from the destroyer were much stronger than that of the hulk, it still felt like a three or four year old was punching him, despite that, the forces behind the punches thrusts him very far in the direction he was punched.

So far Superman hadn't gone all out with his punches, he wanted to see the limit of this armour.

Superman's hand caught the destroyer by the eye sockets, and then he used his strength to see if he could make a big hole in the face of the destroyer, trying to rip out part of his face.

Superman used more and more strength, and felt excited that he couldn't break it off easily so he tried harder.

The destroyer held onto superman trying to push him away from its face.

Superman held on, and used both his hands to try to open up the helmet of the destroyer.

"What did you take before this, why are you so hard!!" Superman taunted, wanting to see if it was mindless, and it didn't react.

The more strength he used, the more the metal vibrated making gigantic shock waves. At some point the whole planet vibrated at least to some degree.

Superman used about 70 percent of his strength before the metal started to not only bend, but crack.

When he finally broke off the face of the destroyer, a burst of flames came out, and the metal cracked with so much force that a great blast wave expanded so forcefully that it reached the other side of the planet.

The Avengers also felt the blast, it was so powerful that the weaker members got hurt by it.

The helicopter almost crashed.

"What in heaven's name is going on over there?" Captain America couldn't't help but to utter.

Black Panther and spider also looked over, afraid of the situation over there.

"Who is that warrior." Hela couldn't help but to ask Thor as they stopped their fighting.

"I don't know." Thor realised that he had underestimated his friend, and that he didn't really know as much about Superman as he originally thought.

Superman had been blown away by the blast. But looking at what he had in his hand, Superman couldn't help but to smile, he held the face of the destroyer.

But The destroyer wasn't so pleased, as it started burning its divinity as fuel.

Destroyer Cought superman by his throat, throwing him down creating an even bigger crater. He flew down and caught Superman in a really vulnerable position from the behind, in an arm lock.

It tried to break Superman's arm, with so much force that space itself began to shake. it used up more and more energy, magical soul and divinity.

Superman held on trying to fight back but it wasn't easy accumulating force while your arm is in an arm lock.

"SNAP" was heard from Superman's arm. That same snap caused such a great explosion that the Avengers except for hulk and Thor, had to get on the helicopter to fly up high above the ground because the blast came in never-ending waves.

The shock waves were so powerful that the remaining frost Giants almost all died.

The avengers had fought during the last hours, taking care of thirty percent of the forces, and the remaining were just killed by great shockwaves from where superman and the destroyer fought.

The helicopters were being forcefully pushed around in the sky, almost crashing it multiple times, all the Avengers held on for their lives.

For the first time since the war started, Superman felt pain, because his upper arm had been broken, almost at his shoulders.

But the Destroyer was still not content as it used even more power to totally rip off the arm, as the arm came loose, the destroyed was finally pushed off.

Superman stood up, bleeding from his shoulders where he lost his arm.

He looked at where is arm is supposed to be then at the destroyer that held his arm, almost copying how Superman had held its face.

But at the next second, Superman was shocked, because from his shoulder, a new arm started growing, and within 2 seconds, a fully new arm had grown out.

The sleeve of his new suit had been ripped off as well.

Superman punches at the destroyer, no longer being as carefree, not holding back as much. His punch was so forceful that the shockwaves were as great as when his arm had snapped.

In his pummeling, Superman had forgotten about the Avengers and the others. As he stood above the destroyer, he looked down upon it.

It had dents everywhere, the metallic face was ripped off and the fuel for it was extinguishing at a rapid pace.

Superman held the destroyer's arm, while his foot held down its torso, and he used his strength to rip off its arm as well.

Only after that had it stopped moving.

Superman then picked up his own arm, took the sleeve off it, and put it on his new arm.

Then the threads slowly knit themselves back together.

Looking down, superman didn't know what to do.

He had noticed that his own body was more powerful than Uru. But since it's a dead arm, it should burn...

Superman used his beams on max levels before burning it up.

After a few minutes. Superman breathed heavily as he used almost all his energy on the lasers. But just as he stopped using the laser rays, his energy came back and he was back to top condition.

Looking with realization at his new arm that he had regenerated, Superman came to a realization.

So I know I used the word "Shockwaves a lot here but I didn't know how to express it in a better way.

There's a lot happening in this chapter and I don't not if it is comprehensible. Sorry for that.
