"Li Yuan, I know that you like to show off. but, you should keep a slightly low profile for now" Said Qin Yin. Li Yuan's lips twitched and said "Define Low Profile".

"Low profile for you means that you stop shocking people with the weird and amazing things you make!" Said Qin Yin.

"There is a notorious Tier 4 Alchemist in the Alchemy Department who loves making things difficult for newer Alchemists," said Qin Yin.

"You are worried about me?" Asked Li Yuan.

"Not at all! I am worried that you might break him instead!" Said Qin Yin.

"You started to understand me," said Li Yuan with a smile.

"Oh, please! You nearly destroyed my passion for alchemy the 2nd time we met!" Said Qin Yin.

"Well, look at yourself now. You became a Tier 4 Alchemist. If you couldn't accept how bizarre the knowledge others have, your achievement will come to halt and you will get stuck in your previous Tier without being able to escape it" said Li Yuan.

"I know! That why I travelled with you!" Said Qin Yin. The two reached the Alchemy Department Pavilion and entered it.

She quickly finished the procedure of Li Yuan joining the Alchemy Department. But, before Li Yuan could receive his robes and token, a person came and stopped him.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" Asked the person. He was a middle-aged man wearing a green robe.

Li Yuan saw this person and determined that he was actually an old man who took a few pills to preserve his middle-aged appearance.

"Speak of the devil and he will come! He is the Alchemist I told you about, Di Jun" Qin Yin's telepathic message sounded in his mind.

"A small brat who is still wet behind his ears receiving a Tier 3 Alchemist token! When did the Alchemy Department fall to this level?!" Said Di Jun as he took the Tier 3 Token.

"You have to prove to me that you deserve it!" Said Du Jun.

"Oh, really? And how so?" Asked Li Yuan while crossing his arms. Qin Yin felt a shiver in her spine after seeing the evil smile on his face. She knew that Di Jun will suffer greatly from Li Yuan.

"Alchemist Di, Li Yuan is a Tier 3 Alchemist and I pouch for him," said Qin Yin.

"Oh, you are that brat who was sent to the Tang Empire because of refusing the marriage with the Moon Illumination Sect's Chosen!" Said Di Jun. A smug smile appeared in his face and said "Did you come back to throw yourself at him? Well, he is quite lucky!".

Qin Yin's face turned frosty and said " Di Jun, I am a Tier 4 Alchemist like you. And this means now we of the same generation. Actually, I take that back! Do you know why? Because I will not lower my level to that of an old dying fool who is jealous of those who is younger than him for having better talent than him!". Qin Yin was enranged because Di Jun said such words to her in front of Li Yuan!

"Be it Alchemy, Qi Cultivation or Soul Cultivation. You will not match me or even Li Yuan who is younger than me!"

"So shut up you old c*nt and don't dare show your face to in front of me again!"

Li Yuan's lips twitched as he never expected Qin Yin to be this fierce.

Di Jun was frozen stiff as he never expected the calm and reserved Qin Yin to explode like this. And when he came out of his daze, anger and killing intent appeared in his eyes.

"Qin Yin, how dare you speak to your seniors like this?! Do you want to die?" Yelled Di Jun.

"Qin Yin, I challenge you to a Life and Death Alchemy Duel!" Said Di Jun.

"Hahaha... Do you think you are qualified to challenge me?! First, defeat this guy before even thinking about challenging me!" Said Qin Yin while pointing at Li Yuan.

"..." Li Yuan was speechless by how shameless Qin Yin was.

Di Jun's eyes were about to spout flames as Qin Yin's words were extremely humiliating. He couldn't match a young brat who is a Tier 3 Alchemist?

Qin Yin and Di Jun started cursing each other while everyone was watching them.

Li Yuan rubbed his glabella as he started to get annoyed by the two. He ignored the two and said to the elder" Where is my courtyard?". As a Tier 3 Alchemist, Li Yuan was given some privileges. A courtyard for him only, custom made cauldron and a storage ring filled with a huge amount of Tier 3 Herbs.

"Its courtyard number 37 at the 5th Peak." Said the Elder. Li Yuan nodded and went to see his courtyard.

"You little brat, stop right there!" Yelled Di Jun but Li Yuan totally ignored him.

"Look at the one who you want me to challenge! He is escaping for his life while making a woman protect him." Said Di Jun sarcastically.

Qin Yin sneered and said" At least he has a beautiful maiden willing to protect him. This speaks volumes of his abilities and character! But, look at yourself. You are an Old C*nt who is born to live a lonely and miserable life with no one caring a bit about you! When you die, I am sure that even earthworms will feel disgusted for getting near your rotten body!".

"You damned slut!" Di Jun finally exploded and raised his hand. His Cultivation was at the Peak of Qi Sea Realm. Similar to Qin Yin.

"Fighting is not allowed in the sect!" A chilly voice came from the top floor of the pavilion and caused the temperature of the pavilion to drastically decrease.

Li Yuan who was about to leave stopped and turned back. The Person who spoke cultivated his soul to at least the 33rd Level.

"If you want to fight this badly, use alchemy to defeat the other. Otherwise, scram from here!" The voice spoke again.

Di Jun and Qin Yin face turned pale as they felt that their souls are getting suppressed. Suddenly, Qin Yin felt a hand touching her back followed by the suppression significantly decreasing. She didn't need to turn her head to know that it was Li Yuan. She felt warmth in her heart as he came to help her. Well, she was half right!

Li Yuan draw the suppression on her soul to his and that was to temper his soul. He used the Undying Soul Technique to draw and resist the soul pressure in order to make his Soul reach the 15th Level. Even though the pressure only lasted for a few seconds, it was the pressure that came from a soul that reached the 33rd Level Which was 18 Level above Li Yuan's soul level. The benefits he received just from these few seconds was enough to temper his soul to reach the 15th Level.

Li Yuan removed his hand and was welcomed by Qin Yin's gentle voice.

"Thank you!".

Li Yuan's lips twitched slightly and refrained from saying anything.

Well, he did for himself and he shouldn't be thanked for it.

Di Jun was quite miserable as the pressure that he suffered was way stronger than Qin Yin. It was mostly because the one who caused all this mess is none other than him. Senior Ye showed his stance and warned him by this single action of him.

Di Jun looked at Qin Yin and Li Yuan with murderous eyes.

"Don't let me see you again! Otherwise, you will end up miserably." Said Di Jun before turning and leaving the two.

Qin Yin sneered and refused to speak any more to this old man. Li Yuan couldn't help but shake his head.

"I am going to my courtyard. And I want you to come with me." Said Li Yuan as he walked away from the Pavilion. Qin Yin nodded and followed him. The two quickly reached his courtyard and entered it.

"Why did you ask me to come?" Asked Qin Yin.

"Do you want to make a Peak Tier 4 Pill? Your achievement in Tier 4 pills will become way better after it!" Said Li Yuan.

Qin Yin's eyes shone and said " Really?!". Li Yuan nodded and said "But, It will be extremely hard for you. So you have to follow my instructions precisely!".

The Pill that Li Yuan wanted Qin Yin to make is called the Seven Waves Pill, a Peak Tier 4 Pill that will assist him to quickly reach the Peak of Qi Gathering Realm. He couldn't make it now because the pill requires the Alchemist's to be at the 20th Level.

So, Qin Yin will make it for him. It's a win-win situation. He will get the pill while Qin Yun achievement in alchemy will improve.

He chose her to assist him because of a technique he created after getting betrayed by his companions. The Eyes of Truth. It is a part of the Heaven Eyes technique which allow him to see the lies and truth in people's words, movement and eyes. No matter who is it, no matter how strong he is. When a person lies, he will reveal slight changes in his body which can be perceived by his Eyes of Truth. This technique never failed him once after perfecting it and Li Yuan is confident in it. He wished that he had this technique before. Sadly, he couldn't change the past.

"Get these ingredients," said Li Yuan as he told the required ingredients to Qin Yin. When she heard the ingredients, she couldn't help but give him a weird look. Why? Because these ingredients are also used to make a special type of pill for men. That pill increase the sexual vigour of the man by two folds and nearly every alchemist at Tier 4 could make it due to it being quite easy to make.

Li Yuan's mind was occupied by how to guide Qin Yin flawlessly to make the pill purity reach 100%. Due to that, he didn't notice her weird gaze at him.

"What are you waiting for?" Asked Li Yuan when he saw that she was staring at him with a weird look. He felt it weird but didn't think too much about it. Qin Yin saw how Li Yuan was eager to make this pill and couldn't help but blush. She opened her mouth and spoke with a weak voice" I think that you should find another person to make it!"

Li Yuan was puzzled by Qin Yin and thought about what he said. After a few seconds, his face turned dark as he understood why she acted funny. He sighed as he should have explained it better and spared himself from this stupid situation.

"The Pill I want you to make is called the Seven Waves Pill, a Peak Tier 4 Pill. Do you think that I am that desperate to ask a female to make the Yang Igniting Pill?" Asked Li Yuan with an irritated face.

Qin Yin's face became bright red as she mistook Li Yuan.

"Forget about it. Just bring 14 sets of these ingredients!" Said Li Yuan.

"14 sets for just one pill?!" Qin Yin was dumbfounded.

"No, its for two pills. Each pill will need 7 sets of these ingredients" said Li Yuan.

"The 2nd Pill is for you. You at the Peak of Qi Sea Realm for quite a time, about two years, right? Well, this Pill will increase the chances of achieving the Sage Realm by 30% for you." Said Li Yuan. Having a Sage Realm cultivator taking care of him in the sect will make his time way smother. Also, Qin Yin helped him many times and this is the least he could do for her, now.

Qin Yin looked at him and a bright smile appeared on her face. She nodded and quickly left the courtyard to bring the ingredients.

Li Yuan then started writing a soul technique for Qin Yin because if she cultivates it, her control over soul energy will drastically improve.

After three hours, Qin Yin came back with the ingredients which made Li Yuan satisfied. Then, he gave the soul technique to Qin Yin which shocked her greatly. Soul Techniques are quite precious and even sects will guard them so no one can steal them.

The technique that Li Yuan has given her is extremely amazing and the technique she learned before couldn't even compare to it. So, she started learning the technique that Li Yuan taught to her right away.

To shorten the amount Qin Yin needs to gain mastery of the soul technique, Li Yuan provided his insights which in turn slowly made Qin Yin enter the state of enlightenment.
