5 Chapter 4

Mia's pov:

I didn't know there is this kind of people around here.

(Maybe because you only come here to pick Angy.) My subconscious threw at me.

Okay fine. I don't come here a lot but still, this type should have disappeared by now. Who even still has the time to mess around with motorcycles? And how come Angy never mentioned it?

I mean, we literally talk about everything and this is something unusual. She should have mentioned it. Anyway. I look at the CCTV footage to make sure that big guy doesn't make any trouble or steal anything.

The screen of my charging phone on the floor got my attention when it lightened. I received a message so I bent down to see who it was and shit.

Mom: Mia? Where are you? It's lunch time and there is no sign of you. Are you okay?

Me: Yes mom, I'm fine. I forgot to tell you that I'm working in Angelina's place today, can't come. Sorry😬.

Mom: Next time warn me, I worried.

Just when I was going to type a reply, I heard someone clearing their throat saying almost like a whisper: "Excuse me?!" So I stood up immediately apologising for being distracted when I should be working: "I'm so sorry sir, how can I..."

And it hit me. O O, it's the one and only Jason. Not Jason Statham for god's sake. I'd love it to be him but no, it's Jason Frost.

Jason's pov:

It was lunch time and I was near this small supermarket so I just decided to buy something.

I got in and looked around when I set my mind on the small sandwiches in a plastic bag. I came to the cashier to pay but she was doing something on the floor so I cleared my throat not wanting to open my mouth but had to: "Excuse me?!"

When she stood up my eyes lent on a pair of beautiful hazel eyes, familiar ones. I thought I mistook her for someone I knew in high school, but the way she froze when she saw me proved me right, it's her.

It will maybe sound weird but I don't remember her name, if I know it even. I just remember her having a crush on me in high school. Well, that's what I heard.

Mia's pov:

At this time, I wish the ground can swallow me. For some reason, I feel so embarrassed. I can feel my cheeks turning red like a tomato and my ears feeling SO SO hot which happens only when I'm embarrassed or uncomfortable.

It's true I had a huge crush on him in high school that even him knew about it and it's true that he didn't give me any attention but that's not a reason to be so embarrassed right?

I tried to comfort myself but for nothing. Then we heard weird sounds and we both looked at the direction of the source. I thank god silently in my mind for saving me from this situation but I regretted it after.

The big guy from earlier was holding some guy from his collar and broke some glasses of Nutella while pushing the guy. Shit, Nutella is expensive a**hole. Now you have to pay for those. I heard that guy stutter in his hold: "I'm so sorry...it was...an accident."

Jason's pov:

We heard sounds so I turned to see the source when I saw a guy struggling in the hold of a big fat guy stuttering: "I'm so sorry...it was...an accident."

The poor guy was in serious trouble. To my surprise, I heard a feminine voice shouting toward them: "Excuse me sir?! This is definitely not the place to pick fights."

The big guy turned his head toward the cashier. I understood she was the one talking. His face was red and pissed off: "None of your business, b**ch." And here I started feeling my blood boiling.

If there is something I hate, it's to disrespect women and call them with these disrespectful words especially when the woman is nothing like the words and it's the case here. I don't know her but I'm pretty sure she's not a b**ch.
