A few days later...

Aeon could be seen once again trying a new technique that although displayed wonderful effects, Aeon would always have a scowl on his face at the end.

'F*ck it! I give up. I don't even know how many high level techniques I've tried, but always at most i get 0.00002 per circulation. Even others that only sometimes retain the mana get 0.05 minimum with the lowest techniques.

I don't even feel that my core is being strengthened... Even breathing through my mouth feels better than these at this point, as atleast I feel whatever miniscule mana I inhale stays in me and makes me feel alive since I awakened my bloodline... WAIT A MINUTE!'

Some recruits, including Peter, noted that Aeon suddenly stood up with a suprised expression that disappeared just as quickly as it appeared.

Now Aeon could be seen walking to the direction of the library after asking for permission from the instructor.

'I wonder what caused him to make that surprised expression... Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't help him with increasing his rank. I still remember how strong he was in the combat training class, were he overpowered his sparring partner without any technique, but with pure physical force eventhough he hasn't even solidified his core at the Novice rank' Peter thought to himself.

Later that day...

Aeon was still looking through all the techniques to see if any techniques required inhaling or anything similar, but unfortunately even after using the entire class time and even him currently using his free time, he hasn't flund anything even remotely close.

Sighing, Aeon decided to return back to his room in the sleeping quarters. Upon arriving at his room, he entered his bathroom to take a quick shower.

As he was in the shower, he sighed and thought to himself 'uhhhhh... nothing even remotely requires you to inhale'

Suddenly an idea popped in his head, so he focused on his surroundings to sense the mana around him. Once he was able to sense the mana around him, he opened his mouth as wide as he could and took the biggest breath he could muster.

But he quickly ran out of breath and no mana being sucked towards him. Facepalming himself for his stupidity, he decided to finish his shower and try again.

After leaving the shower and wearing his clothes, Aeon sat on his bead in a cross-legged position. He focused on the mana around him as he closed his eyes, and then made a small opening in his mouth as he started to take a deep breath.

Without realising it he entered into a state of semi-consciousness, and if someone saw the mana around him they would be in shock, because it locked like Aeon was a black hole that sucked the mana around him.

Waking up from his semi-conscious state, Aeon felt extremely energizer as if he had just woken up from and eight hour sleep.

'Wow, that was weird. Why does my core feel weird hmm...'
