12 A Teenage Royalty

Yuri had called Botan to drive him to Akira's Campaign rally at The University of Tokyo.

"Thanks a lot, Bo. If it weren't for you I would have already been late," Yuri said as he settled quite nicely in his friend's luxury Ferrari.

"It's nothing, Yuri. But I thought you had a BMW. If you don't have a license, how did you arrive at the hotel last time?"

Botan had deep eyebags; he had worried about the Yakuza and the Dojos but finally had some relief when he saw the news on TV.

He knew that Yuri had something to do with it. But he didn't know how he did it.

"Oh. Hahaha... I'll tell you next time."

Yuri bit his lip and wondered if he should tell Botan about Artificial Intelligence. All that his friend knew about him and his powers were the Magitek Weaponry and their Attribute Cores so far.

"You should get a driver's license soon. How can the Overlord change the world if he doesn't know how to drive?"

Botan revved the engine like a young flashy rich kid. They both felt like kings and laughed.

"Well, what kind of Overlord needs to drive himself... Ey?"

"I guess you have a point there. You know the Overlord is becoming popular among the youth. Yeah, and there is good news about the MMA Masters and Coaches; they have already started teaching Mazoku to their students."

"What's Mazoku?" Yuri's eyebrows wrinkled.

"It's the term they used for any Martial Arts or Fighting Style that uses Magitek weaponry. It's really neat. It's like Mixed Martial Arts has evolved to a God-like level."

Another thing that had kept Botan sleepless was making sure that everything went to plan in the Dojo Constructions and managing their people.

"Cool. That's part of the reason why I wanted to recruit them in the first place. Since those who have trained their bodies and skills have better original statistics than normal people." Yuri said.

"And there's been something bothering me, though I can't seem to put any words to it. Anyway, why Mazoku?"

"They called it Mazoku because they believe that the magical weapons were demonic powers given to them by the Overlord," Botan said.

"Mazoku... huh... I like that name. That's what we should call our MMA Organization. So far we already have nine Dojos all over the country. Soon Mazoku will be the biggest MMA Organization in Japan... And, I want you to be the one to lead Mazoku, Brother. Empower the weak and protect the vulnerable. I know I can trust you with this."

"As you wish, My Lord Yuri." With the speed that Botan drove, they arrived at The University of Tokyo in no time. "Alright. We're here. See you later, Yuri."

"And Botan... Get some sleep, man. You've done good," Yuri said.

Yuri had worn his new Gucci custom-tailored suit, limited-edition Ray-Ban shades, and adorned himself with expensive accessories. One of his dreams before was to look like Daniel Craig's James Bond. When he walked out of Botan's Ferrari, all the college girls by the gate were mesmerized by the mysterious man stepping out of a luxury car.

"Who is that? Is he a movie star?" one of the girls said.

"He must be so rich. What's his Instagram?" a girl asked her friend.

"OMG! A Hottie, I gotta take a picture." She took a candid photo of Yuri and tweeted it with a '#MysteryHottieinTUOT'.

Yuri noticed that the girls were suddenly crushing over him. He gave a small cocky grin at them. The group of girls shrieked and felt butterflies in their stomachs.

"AI, can you use GPS and tell me where the conference hall is or something?"

"Right, I forgot, it's in the inventory. Why am I so forgetful all the time?"

Yuri breathed deeply and sucked all his pride in. As a man, he would have never done this ever but for his Uncle Akira, he would do anything. So he mustered up the humility and lowered himself to be able to do the most humiliating action that a man could ever do; ask for directions.

He saw the guard at the gate. And stepped closer. "Good morning, Miss. Can you tell me the direction for Mr. Akira Abe's Campaign Event?"

The guard was a girl, in her twenties and he thought she looked cute in her tight uniform, She happily responded to his question.

Yuri noticed this, and said, "Yes, well, if I ever get lost and not find my way in the University... I'm going to have to need your number to call for help."

The woman guard straightened up her uniform. "Oh yes, of course."

She gave him her phone number. "Well, thank you. I'll call you later then?" Yuri said. She smiled but hid it with her paper holder. Yuri followed the directions and arrived at the big stadium at the university.

The stadium was an open field meant for baseball. The audience sat on one side of the court and they had built a temporary platform for the political candidates to stand and talk.

"Oh, there's Akira. Damn! He looks really snappy with that grey tuxedo of his."

Yuri snapped his fingers and said, "Well, I better find a seat. I can't wait to hear the changes he wants to make in Japan. Maybe empower the Japanese Military so we can actually defend ourselves." He looked around and sat in the highest row and sat in the corner.

After several minutes, it was Akira's turn to give a speech. The whole audience cheered and applauded when he stood up and waved his hand.

"How did he get this popular?" Yuri said. He accidentally said it out loud.

A girl next to him about his age answered. "It's because they think he is the Overlord."

Yuri didn't look at her and kept watching Akira on the platform, greeting the audience.

"Why do they think that?" he asked her.

"Well, he was the lawyer that took down the Casanova Corporation along with every other corrupt and criminal business that worked with them in the International Money-laundering and Tax-evasion Scandals," the girl said confidently.

"That seems too much of a stretch, doesn't it," Yuri replied.

They also associated Mr. Abe with the 90 Billion dollar donations to Orphanages, Research Funds for Diseases and Illnesses, and other charities that were under the Overlord alias," the girl said.

"Now that's just going too far. Anybody could have used 'Overlord' alias," Yuri said.

"And donate 90 Billion dollars exactly the same amount that was missing from the Syndicate's nest egg?" the girl wittily replied. "I don't think it's a coincidence."

Yuri smiled and said, "So all these people think, that just because the old man on stage, was working on a case at the same time as Overlord's revelation of evidence and donation, he is the one."

"Well, not just that... The Nationwide Police Operation on the Yakuza; the police released a statement that they were able to perfectly perform Operation Dragon's death, because of the guidance of an anonymous individual that gave them the information," the girl replied. "The police weren't able to trace the exact location of the call, but they did pinpoint that it was around Tokyo."

"Damn, people's conspiracy theories.. huh? What if they're wrong? And the old man is just a boy scout... A normal and average man, trying his best to serve his country," he replied. Yuri was impressed with the girl he was talking to. He removed his glasses and turned toward her. And his heart pounded like a beating bass drum. She was a total knockout in his eyes. "That's what the crowd thinks, but what about you?" he asked her. She smiled a little bit and brushed her hair. Yuri couldn't stop looking at her though he tried his best not to get noticed.

"Personally, I don't think Mr. Abe is the Overlord. But, I do think it's someone close to him. Maybe, even..."

Yuri couldn't believe it. Did this girl find out that he is the Overlord? Trying his best not to react to her genius conclusion, he probed more.

"So who do you think it is?" he asked her then gulped.

The girl looked at Yuri and noticed his cute blue eyes. "You... are a hafu?" she asked him.

"Oh yeah... My mother she is Chine-" Yuri was about to finish explaining. "Your highness!" a huge man ran towards them. "We have been looking all over for you, Princess Yuna!" her bodyguard shouted.

Yuri's eyes fluttered in confusion. "Wait... you're the princess-?" He couldn't finish talking.

"I am sorry. I have to go. I'm really sorry!" Yuna said.

"Something is happening and it's all over the country! Come on!" the bodyguard shouted.

Bang* A sniper gunshot is heard from a distance. The crowd panicked and ran for their lives. Yuri looked at where the gunshot came from and at the top of the building was a man holding an M107 long-range Sniper Rifle.

Then he couldn't believe his eyes. The man suddenly disappeared out of sight like a chameleon that blends invisibly into its surroundings.

"Did that man just turn invisible? He's running away after he shot his gun. Shot? Shit!... He shot someone!"

Yuri looked at the stage and saw his Uncle Akira walking in a small circle and losing balance. Akira fell off the platform with a gunshot wound on his shoulder.

"Akira!"
