The kingdom PT. 3

After the two of them ate, they decided to go to the dungeon in the castle. It was a very sketchy staircase. The stairs were rusted, it was dark, and Chris worried if the guard was there. When they reached the end, Evan lifted his staff and a small, but bright light shone through the darkness. "Why didn't you do that as we were coming down?" Chris asked. Evan shrugged, "I dunno, guess I didn't feel like it." Chris scoffed when Evan said that, and hoped the guard wasn't there. Chris looked around and found that there were a lot of tools, and weapons. To the right of them there was a long brown table that stretched along the massive room. The table had many cuts and dents in it. Nothing really caught Chris eye except for two things, the 'water' that was dripping from the ceiling, and how bad the room smelled. Chris found a flashlight, clicked it on and continued to search the large counter. There were swords of all sorts, big ones, small ones, dull ones, sharp ones, shiny ones, dirty ones. He found pickaxes, axes, fingers in glass jars with green liquid, eyes that seemed to stare at him and a weird, red light. Chris shifted his light to the light but it seemed to come from the wall, he just ignored it. Towards the end of the desk, Chris saw a sword. It was glowing green, and had a black handle. The blade was very slim, but it seemed to be sharp along the entire thing. Chris picked it up, and felt more powerful. "Woah…" Chris mumbled, as he continued to look at the stuff on the desk. He got to the end of the desk and aimed his flashlight at the corner, where he found a backpack. It was glowing green down the zipper but the backpack was black. Chris put it on, but it didn't feel like he had put it on. He felt his back, and sure enough, it was there. But it was so light, he just didn't feel it. He put his sword between his back, and the backpack then went to find Evan, who had already found him.
