11 White forest(05)

Zed focused on is mana and calmed down as he felt that the natural mana layers surrounding him and the other two were frozen in place and it had no intention of harming them. After realising that he used his mana to make the little cub settle down, Eva already realised what was happening and she did not resist against it.

Slowly the liquified mana he was holding started floating on its own, it vibrated slightly and moved at high speed towards the centre of the forest where he came from but Zed and his companions stayed in their places frozen as they still could not move.

Suddenly they felt a moment in the surrounding atmosphere and before they knew it they started to float automatically without warning, they floated at a fast speed and without realising they were already above the forest. Zed could feel that a strong wave of mana was being expelled from the forest and if he were to stand on his own he would immediately be crushed before even withstanding the mana flow. Luckily it seemed his grandfather already made arrangements for them because the mana that was locking them in place and making them float was also protecting them from the heavy mana flow of the forest.

As far as his eyes could see he only saw trees and more trees making him feel tired. But now he finally understood why he would need to be strong enough to even come back into the forest and why Redel said that he would be protected by him till he made it outside.

He felt a strong mana wave pass by and he looked in the direction it came from, it was exactly from the centre of the forest where the world tree Arasine was located.

Meanwhile, Arasine who was still sitting on the small branch was getting impatient slowly and she kept looking at the direction Zed had gone to and sometimes checking the mana flow.

It had been a few months now that Zed had begun his journey but she did not even feel the mana wave she was waiting for, but suddenly on this day she heard a loud roar followed by another roar and it continued for a while. Making her almost lose balance, but before she could make herself steady she felt another wave of cries and could only stay on the branch because of the connection she had with her main body.

The body she was moving around was just a simple mana avatar she created to move easily, simple only for those who were on her level at least. The beastly roars were not simple sound waves, they also contained a small amount of energy the sound wave produced resulting in making mana agitated along with it.

After making herself steady enough she muttered.

"Stinky cats and lizards always shouting unreasonably, when I get myself free from these things the first thing I would do is hang you all to these trees; humph!"

She was angry because even though ordinary beings and those equally powerful could ignore the beast's trials, because of her special circumstances she was forced to witness and hear them every time they roared during trials.

She calmed down a little after some time and thought that it was because Zed who went searching for a companion, she was not worried about him as he already had Redel's protection for some time. It would've have been an easy task for her to monitor what he was doing but she was required to focus completely on her task.

After waiting for a few hours she shook slightly as she felt the lake inside her inner world started moving violently. After noticing the commotion she immediately elated at those events.

'Finally, it is getting out of my home' she thought.

She created a transparent door above the lake enough for it pass through without any problem, immediately after the lake water started to float and moved extremely fast through the door exiting the inner world instantly.

Arasine felt light-headed after the lake water was outside her home. The lake was a special existence in the forest before; it used to float in the air without any support and releasing vapours of mana continuously. It was formed completely by mana making the whole forest covered in mana vapour. Even the whole forest was named after the lake because of its colour being white due to almost pure mana.

After Redel left it was Arasine's task to stabilize the lake and inner world until it moves back to its original place. Redel only moved the lake because he got curious and mostly because the lake was becoming unstable due to its evolution.

The original mana lake before Redel moved it was white and now it was almost transparent; as soon as the small mana liquid from Zed came into contact with the crystal clear lake it absorbed it as if it would run away if he delayed.

Zed, Eva along with now awaked little cub stood silently watching as a huge almost transparent water ball appeared above the forest spanning nearly 1 kilometre in diameter. Only now he felt a little bit of mana which was originally Redel left behind missing.

Suddenly wave after wave rippled across the forest from its centre. Zed looked at the waves moving and pass by him and those beside him, he could feel a strong pressure against his barrier but it held on.

The mana liquid he created seemed to be some sort of key for this liquid mana sphere to appear.

Along with the appearance of the liquid mana sphere shadows of different shapes and sizes appeared above the forest, some even inside the forest standing on the giant trees or ground.

Zed noticed these shadows but he could not make sense from head to tail as he would only see distorted mana flow around these figures and even if he could see their shapes he would forget them in the next moment. The only reason he could even know they existed was that he could see them appearing in large numbers. just as he was about to look for another figure he heard a light sound of a woman.

"Little guy don't bother those things. Why not enjoy yourself with the show."

He could not even pinpoint the location of this voice, and he could not find words to describe the words for that voice as if he stopped thinking about that voice he would forget about it in the next moment.

But he did not delve into it for long as he began focusing on the mana sphere again. The shadows moved in droves from every direction and their shapes different from each other, some would gaze at Zed and his group but after noticing the barrier they would ignore it.

Eva who was mesmerized in the spectacular scenery of mana sphere began dreaming about swimming in it. The little cub still warily looked at every shadow that passed by them even after listening to that voice.

The liquid sphere moved in different shapes as if trying to find itself a comfortable shape. Finally, after two days of moving the lake took shape of a bowl supported by a pair of pillars made of giant trees from the surrounding. After it evolved into nearly transparent, the lake spread covering 1000meters across and deep as almost 600meters at its centre. With the help, Arasine gave and its own liquid mana, the giant trees from the forest bent in sideways and spreading their branches to support the lake in a spiral shape above the world tree.

Arasine became extremely happy because now she could shower in liquid mana and it being directly above her lot of sunlight made its way through making her shine brightly.

Zed looked at the mana sphere which now had taken shape of a bowl. The bowl-shaped mana lake looked just like a mage staff with crystal on top.

After taking its shape the event all these figures who travelled for began, ripples spread in spherical shape towards the sky, the ground and towards all lands in every colour Zed had seen in his life and many more he had no idea of almost as if it was an illusion.

Zed felt a familiar feeling he wanted to forget ever since he experienced it. He began seeing things he couldnt before, hear that he could not before, smell and taste the surroundings like he could not before. Just like when he awakened in the past he began felling them again and this time stronger than before.

Eva started enjoying the scene in front of her as if it was the most beautiful thing she could ever see. As for the little fella; he began whining long before the ripple spread out. Zed stopped feeling uncomfortable slowly as controlled his senses, then he helped the little cub calm down.

After gaining control over his senses he looked towards Eva on his shoulder who was enjoying herself and moved his gaze slowly towards the mana lake.

He noticed that a white mana layer was continuously spread out from the liquid mana lake to every direction which would then transform into different colours. After that, he felt his connection with the mana in the surrounding felt a little closer than before. As ripples hit his barrier it did not stop them from entering and letting them wash over Zed and company.

Eva was almost ecstatic as she let the ripples hit her, even the little cub calmed down naturally immediately sleeping himself which made Zed a slightly itchy and uncomfortable because how similar he looked to his gran Bitsy while sleeping.

Zed could now even see some of the shapes near him making him nearly fall down, luckily he was not the one who was making himself float or he would already be on the ground. The reason for that was, the shapes he could see looked similar to many legendary creatures inside his animal encyclopedia.

Even their auras were incredibly powerful, of course they immediately retracted them. The ripples caused many of the figures to lose their control over their powers.

Zed kept his eyes open after calming down and observed the ripples produced by the mana lake again. His control over his domain increased, it did not increase in size but now he could feel his surroundings more clearly.
