7 White forest(01)
Zed continued to walk in the forest slowly looking around and stopped for a moment as he felt that the nature surrounding him seemed sad a little bit and instantly knew why. He felt a little sad too but picked himself up immediately after remembering how his grandfather asked him to come to look for him after becoming strong enough.
He did not know where his grandfather and gran Bitsy had gone to but he knew they had their reason and he would eventually find out about it.

After walking for while he couldn't help but feel amazed by the sizes of the trees in this forest.
Even though his grandfather made him experienced many lifecycles he only experienced mortal life. The whole purpose of his training in those dream worlds was so that he can develop his mentality.
According to his grandfather, a lot of mages in ancient times would experience mortal life again and again as that was the only place they could let their feelings free and temper their mentality.
The trees were towering towards the sky and he felt as if he was a small pebble at the foot of a mountain.
With trunks as wide as 30-50meters alone he couldn't even begin to imagine the height of these monstrous trees. He couldn't help but imagine Arasine who looked like small adorable sprout as opposed to these huge trees.
Zed continued his journey after admiring the trees and different giant plants.
After a few hours of walking, he suddenly stopped and looked at his right wrist which he wore his watch like a bracelet on. The marble screen slightly shone with silver light for a moment and returned to normal again.
He looked at the screen for a moment and few blinks after a small voice reached his ears.
"Hmm, so you are the one who lord ether talked about?"
Zed glanced sideways on his shoulder and he could see a small human-shaped figure standing on it, her small figure was as small as his palm.
It was a little girl who resembled between 10-12 years of age, she had short grey hair and small ruby-red eyes, wearing white dress reaching her knees and long black boots just like her dress that covered till her knees.
"I don't have a name yet because I was just recently born so give me that first."
She said again without giving him any chance of questioning her.
Zed looked at her and said smiling.
"Grandfather did say that because how he thought some mages and they gave him the title lord ether but it's the first time I'm hearing it."
The small girl didn't respond to him immediately but continued to stand on his shoulder with her hands crossed.
"Eva"
Zed said slowly after not receiving her response to his comment.
"Hmm, it's good for now at least if I find out a better name I would change to it in the future."
The little girl now named Eva said while crossing her small hands and looking a little satisfied.
Zed looked at her and couldn't help but ask.
"Grandfather asked you to look for me?"
"No, I'm here just because of the contract between spirits and others like him."
She said this time not ignoring the question.
From this little exchange, Zed could guess that this small spirit his grandfather chose for him like to receive her demands first then giving others their share.
"Lord ether and The Mighty Dark One stored some things inside of the spirit contract device."
Zed finally understood why his grandfather didn't bother for him to pack any tools and food materials before leaving. As for who that Mighty was, he didn't have to search long to know it was just his gran Bitsy spreading her name again.
"You can touch the device and look at what is inside and take them out."
Eva said explaining to him without him asking.
Zed touched the black screen like marble with his finger and immediately after a small glass-like screen appeared in front of him with different pictures on it along with numbers.
He looked at it and noticed that aside from cooking utensils there was only a small amount of food material, it also had a tent and other small furniture for a quick camp and some miscellaneous things. He could imagine his grandfather wanting him to make his gadgets and magic tools on his own.
Aside from that, the last thing he noticed was a small brown ball and was not sure what that was.
Eva who was watching him noticed his confusion and immediately explained.
"That is the gift the might dark one left for you, it is a delicacy made from different spirit fruits and plants.
It has no other use than to eat as a snack."
Zed couldn't help but imagine his gran bitsy chewing dozen of these while swinging her tail.
After confirming his assets he began to walk again, and even though he noticed some coins inside his mobile cart he didn't think about it much.
As he walked slowly he opened the map on his spirit device which only showed the forest just like his grandfather had mentioned earlier. It only showed the forest area which was almost a circle and an only a small part of the forest had grown out of it braking its perfect shape.
After making it big enough he finally noticed his position on the map which was almost near the circle and he could see that he was just a tiny dot on the huge landscape of the forest.
Because that was how big the forest was and he couldn't continue to walk as he felt a little tired after noticing the forest area.
But then again it was probably his grandfather's another method for his training.
After telling himself that he began walking again.
Before long it was night time and he set up his small tent beside a small pond he found while walking. After setting up his camp he sat down beside the pond on a small chair and small table with him and searched the direction he set off from.
He already knew that this was probably the direction his grandfather wanted him to travel.
So he asked directly to the spirit about it.
"When would we be out of the forest anyway."
Eva who was now sitting on the table with her small hands playing with her dress looked at him.
"I do not know it is my first time travelling as I am newly born."
"Hmm did my grandfather stored any knowledge about the forest with you."
He asked because he did not find anything related to the books and information inside the spirit device.
"It's all in the spirit device and you just have to look for the books they are not in their physical form."
Following her instruction, he finally was able to find the library. It included only basic information about animals and plants inside the forest aside from his books which he read from childhood about basic knowledge.
And again he began to imagine how his grandfather never gave him any descent thing aside from basics, then again having trained inside that dreamworld and receiving teaching from one of the most powerful figures he couldn't complain as not everyone would be as fortunate to have them.
"Why is everything not organized? Its time consuming to look for different things every time."
Zed asked Eva because he felt it was such a hassle to look for things he wanted to and had to search separately. And he could only look at things he wanted to and not everything else just like his map and things left behind by his grandfather and bitsy
"You may arrange them as you see fit and I will organize accordingly in the future."
Eva said.
It was not that she did not organize them it was just that she was just recently born and had no time to do so after waking up. So Zed had to look into device and organize different things like his inventory, map, food items, library, and last but not least something he just found out about a contact list.
His contact list only included Arasine and according to the device, this contact function will only start after he left the forest so he couldn't contact her immediately.
After organizing things he finally had the time for his training. Even after his awakening, he did not train in any type of magic. His grandfather continuously made him practice only in controlling mana.

Redel looked at zed opening his eyes and said lightly.
"Now let us begin your control training. To control matter and its energy you would need a medium to do so. And that medium is mana."
"You would slowly get accustomed to mana control but first you have to understand mana is only the beginning and simply a medium created by first mages and nature to solve the problem of controlling matter and energies."
