2 prologue 2

"So should I make the fire?" The pony asks waging its tail and drooling.

The man in purple looks at her then at the blue sky and lets out a sigh "You know I've always wanted to try millennia-old horse right? Wonder what it tastes like," he looks towards the pony again " what do you say? Wanna find out?"

Just as the man in purple says that it becomes quite in the surroundings after a long pause of silence the pony says "You are disgusting even after all these years your human nature never dies down. Why can't you love nature a little more?"

Then come another silence and this time it was a lightning that came crashing down out of nowhere that brakes the silence by striking on top of the pony's head.

Even after all that happening both of them never stopped and kept walking as for the now blackened pony she still held her head high up and kept her tail swaying left to right.

The inside world of the tree was a vast world and hard to see the border with different trees, animals, birds, lakes, rivers, oceans and different environments from hot deserts to snowy mountains.

Despite all the commotion, the animals enjoying their life didn't even flinch as if it were a normal occurrence.

"Hmm.... would he be ready by the time you go?" the pony asks.

"What do you mean YOU it's WE we're going together" the man rolls his eyes toward her.

"Sigh.. how can I just leave the world without making peace and prosperity, I've taken the oath to do so." the pony says while letting out a sigh and looking at the faraway mountains.

"Yeah tell that to all the dead souls who died because a certain sh**y pony got the urge to watch the real-life war." the man says again with a disgusted look on his face.

"How can you call me sh*t? It was me who stayed with you through all the thick and thin and now you cast me aside like this?" while saying this the pony makes her burned fur stand upward together with her tail.

"He should be ready I suppose and if not who cares? Those stupid old fogies do something from time to time. It's always me who does the work." The man says with purple flashes of light moving around his body.

"It is your second time doing the work you are supposed to do who are you trying to fool? And DID YOU JUST CHANGED THE SUBJECT!!!!!?" the pony shouts back.

The man keeps walking without saying anything and BANG!! another lightning strikes the pony.

"This is why no woman stays with you for more than a decade" the pony remarks again looking sideways towards the man with slightly disapproving look.

BANG...

"How much are you ganna make him train anyway?" The pony whose fur now started to become pitch black asks as if nothing happens.

"Who knows? Let things happen as they are." The man says looking at the sky with his hands behind his back.

"Just how many times do I have to tell you that your so-called 'profound' quotes are all stolen?"The pony says looking at the man while her burned fur starts to regain their original colour.

The man in purple did not seem to herd her as he continues to walk. After a while, they reach their destination beside a lake spanning nearly 1000meters across which was ordinary but the water inside the lake was almost transparent showing bottom of the lake at about 800meters deep clearly which was green in colour because of all the underwater plants growing

Beside the lake aside from the small three-storey building, there were only little animals loitering around or sleeping. Even though these animals were around 1-2 metres or smaller in size the bigger animals seem to be afraid of them as they kept their distance despite being bigger than 20meters.

As soon as the man and pony come near the house the smaller animals turn their heads in their direction and go back to their own things immediately after. Nearing the house the duo didn't even do anything and the house creates a passage for them to enter.

The house looked just like any other ordinary house made out of wood but the house from inside looked nothing like the simple three-storey building after the duo entered the house they were greeted by a long hallway connecting the entrance and the living room. There were no fancy paintings or pots in the hallway. It only consisted of racks for coats and shoes or boots

The living room itself was about 400square meters kitchen included and stairways leading upstairs and toward the basement alongside a vertical rectangular box which looked similar to a lift.

The living room included some couches and sofas and behind them was a dining table, a rectangular black screen in front of the couches floating some distance away, a rack for books beside the couch and a small table floating in the front. The black screen started showing different images as soon as the duo came inside the living room. The images shown were of seems to be a war between two armies of humans fighting each other.

Both of the armies stood thousands of meters apart but there were lights of different colours flying from one side to another and making sounds of explosions but regardless how much noise it was making there were no signs of damages anywhere.

Both of the armies were wearing armours on the front lines with the same design and with different weapons, behind them were thousands of soldiers and commanders but instead of horses, they were floating in the air above 20feet from the ground. The lights which were being sent flying was the work of hundreds of humans standing on the floating platform far behind the armies of both sides surrounded by a thin transparent sphere-shaped layer. Both of the armies almost had the same number of soldiers and commanders as well as same formation but with only different flags and different colour of armours.

The man looks at the screen and turns towards the pony who watching the same screen with excitement expression, he waves his hand and the image on the screen changes to complete black making the pony turn her head toward the man and saying "You really can't appreciate the art of war now can you?"

"Don't waste time and take care of this human and try to make him not cry, I hate kids when they cry" The man waves his hand and the baby starts to float towards the pony.

"Huh! wait why am I the one taking care of this thing?" the pony asks with a dumfounded expression.

"Who else is free enough to do so besides you?" the man asks back.

"You." the pony says almost immediately as if expecting the question

"I'll be busy getting ready for our departure and setting training for him for a while so it's you not me." the man replies again immediately too.

The pony didn't open her mouth again but turned towards the stairs and as she starts to walk her face shows a slight smirk.

"Don't even think about making him cry deliberately and disturbing me or no food for you on our journey."

The smirk on the pony's face froze immediately as she turns around looks towards the kitchen and starts to walk toward the stairs again.

"And I know all about those hidden spirit plants and fruits of yours." the man says again as he too starts to walk towards the couch.

This time the pony stops completely and looks toward the baby with her eyes turning slightly red.

"That's not the solution you should be looking for" after sitting comfortably on the couch the man says again.

Immediately the pony's eyes turn back to their original black colour and look at the baby lovingly as if she was a mother looking at her own child and smiling.

"I still can't get used to your ever-changing moods even now." the man says again while sitting on a couch and looking at the floating table in front of him with his grey eyes glowing with light from time to time.

"When you reach sagehood mundane things like emotions mean nothing to you" the pony says showing a smile and still looking at the baby.

"Or maybe after turning into a lunatic?" the man says again.

The smile on pony's face goes away after hearing that replacing by rows of shining teeth.

"Sigh...."

the man lets out a sigh after noticing her actions and ignores her as she begins to walk upstairs.

"Now then how many eras and lifetimes should I make him experience, for him to be ready to learn basic things from me." the man murmurs to himself.
