The Mage with an Existential Crisis (Hololive Fanfic)[Under Rewrite]

A story of old, wherein demons, magic, and all sorts of supernatural exists. A story that told about the truth of the world, uncovering its myths and mysteries. A story of an all powerful mage searching for his purpose in the vast world, searching, for a place to call home. A story where Hololive Idols are more than just idols. +----------------+ A/N: Yahallo! I have decided to post this here as well, since its what I'm currently writing upon. As for those who have read my previous books, whichever it is. I still haven't found a single ounce of motivation or ideas in my bones to continue them for now. I'll occassionally write on the drafts, but for now. I present you my latest work, I haven't seen much Hololive fanfics around, so I decided to make one. I don't own Hololive, the idols, or anything that may came along them. I only own my OC, and probably the plot(?). For those who are wondering if this is a harem or not. Big no. I can't write harems, as simple as that. Some Idols, or hololive girls might be a bit OOC/out of character since I'm not that good to perfectly imitate how they act. Hope you guys enjoy.

Coco's POV

Today is just any normal day to my lovely Asacoco Diner. Kanata being a pure angel that helps whenever she can, just ignore the death grip. Watame being the only one to chug down Asacoco like nothing, coming in early to get her daily intake of it. One surprise will be Suisei's visit, seldom does a Royal Guard to visit this place, much less the Suisei herself. But other than that, everything was going normally until those two came in, the male one to be specific.

Looking at the far right of my diner, I gazed upon a blue and white haired bunny girl, with carrot like accessories on her pigtails. Munching relentlessly on any dish that had carrots on it. Sitting in front of her, was a charming young man, silvery white hair glistening under the sunlight coming through the window, a pair of mesmerizing azure eyes, and an angular face. I had to stop some of my employees from staring too much, lest I disturb the two.

But that's not what is weird about those two. It's the young man's aura or should I say magicka essence. As a Dragonkin, I'm very astute to feeling magicka essence in the air itself, and right now. My senses are screaming at me to run away as far as possible from that young man. I can feel the magicka around him pulsating with limitless power, and before I can carry on with my thoughts, the young man started a conversation. Which I shamelessly eavesdropped on.

"Ne Pekora, this Asacoco is really something else, whoever came up with this must be a genius!" The young man remarked at his partner in front of him, who only gazed at him in shock. I mean I would as well, after all only those with very high tolerance can chug down one Asacoco drink, much less ten of them!

"Is this guy for real Coco? He is already at his tenth one!" Kanata remarked beside me, as I saw her watch in worry if the young man will suddenly faint or something similar.

"Don't worry Kanata, something is different about him than others." I hummed my reply as we continue to watch the young man chug his last glass of Asacoco.

"HAHAHA! That was awesome, we should visit this place more since, we would be staying in the city for quite a while." Laughing heartedly, he set down the empty glass.

"I can't believe you drank ten glasses of Asacoco peko. Are you sure there is nothing wrong with you Enma-peko?" Pekora, if I heard it right, asked the now named young man, Enma.

"Oi! I'm perfectly normal!" Enma rebutted in annoyance.

'Anyone who can chug down ten glasses of Asacoco is not normal!' I remarked while sweatdropping inside my head, and I'm pretty sure everyone else thought so as well. As everyone is looking at Enma-san with a sweatdrop.

While everyone was busy watching the two argue about what being 'normal' means, I faced the front door as I heard it ring.

'Eh? What is Ms. Watson doing here?' I idly wondered as I watch her scan the diner for something. When her gaze land on Enma-san, I immediately noticed how it sharpened in focus. I also saw awe on her gaze.

'It looks like my senses are really on point this time. He isn't normal by any chance.' Gazing back at the back of Enma-san, I couldn't help but to lick my lips in interest.

Change of POV brought to you by a Chibi Enma and Chibi Pekora walking along the streets of Rufubin, while somewhere behind them. Chibi Coco, Chibi Suisei, and Chibi Amelia stalks them both stealthily.

Enma's POV

Just as I was about refute another accusation from Pekora, I felt several sharp gazes landing on me. Signaling Pekora with my eyes, she blinked twice before pouting and looking at the side.

When she returned gaze at me, she whispered quietly enough for only the two of us to hear.

"Three girls. One dragonkin, which I think is the owner of the diner. One blue haired female Royal Guard, and lastly, a blonde haired magician, if the stick on her hip is a wand peko." I nodded my head, decided to act like I'm grumbling and finished my meal. Pekora did the same, after that, we both stood up and paid for the food. I discretely examined the orange haired female dragonkin behind the counter, and immediately looked away.

'Those are huge! What did she when she grew up?' I thought to myself as I finally noticed her curious and heated gaze.

"Thanks for the food maam, that was delicious." I smiled politely and bowed a bit. In turn she only shook her head.

"It was nothing, no need to be polite, Enma-san, right?" Well ain't that curious, looks like she was eavesdropping on us. To be fair, Pekora and I were loud.

"Ah yes, that is my name. How about your maam?" I sheepishly rubbed the back of my head, as she silently giggles.

"Coco, Kiryu Coco. Owner of Asacoco Diner, and the genius who came up with Asacoco drink." She offered her right hand for a handshake, I suppose its a custom of sorts, I took it and was finally able to digest what she said.

"Eh? You made Asacoco? That's awesome! The bestest drink that I ever had in my entire life! I'm so glad I dined in here." Gazing at her in admiration, I couldn't help but praise her genius.

"Not everyone thinks like that, by the way, what's your secret? A normal adult, man or woman will immediately faint if they took a sip of Asacoco, but you chugged down ten glasses of them. So?" Again with the curious and heated gaze of her. With that great figure of hers, its taking my imagination elsewhere. Getting rid of those bad thoughts, I answered her bluntly.

"Well, its not that strong to me for some reason, actually, I feel more energetic than usual!" I stiffened as I sense all kind of disbelief gazes landing on my back.

'Did I say something wrong?' I thought, as I felt uncomfortable with the stares.

"Ara~ Such an interesting young man like you. Anyway, it looks like your girlfriend is getting rather impatient now. Off you go, but please do come back. I have a new batch Asacoco coming around this week." She said while chuckling.

'Ah shit, I nearly forgot about Pekora! Oh no, she will kill me after we find an inn' Sweating slightly, I looked to my left and saw Pekora glaring at me.

'Yep, I'm dead. Goodbye cruel world, I will miss you.' I prayed in my thoughts as Pekora drags me out of the diner. On the way out, I saw a tuff of blonde hair by the corner of my vision.

"Must be the magician girl Pekora was talking about..." I muttered silently, but I decided to ignore it for now. There are a huge problem in hand, and that is appeasing Pekora's rage.

'This will not end well for me, I can already feel and hear it. The maniacal laughter, the carrots, and that goddamn smug face.' Despair took over my thoughts, as past memories that should be buried decided to rear it's ugly face.

"Oi! Teme! You are not listening to me peko!" I was dragged out of my depressed thoughts by a slap to my head.

"Itaiii!!" Holding it in pain, I snapped my head towards Pekora, who is still glaring at me.

"Fine, I'm sorry for ignoring you earlier. I'll treat you with whatever you want tomorrow. Happy Peko-chan?" Her glare softened a bit, but its still there.

"That's not I was angry about peko." I raised my eyebrow in confusion, as I stared at her. She tried to open her mouth a few times, but decided not to clear up the misunderstanding and just stepped on my toe.

"ITAIII! What was that for?!" She only harrumphed at me and looked away.

'Why are women so hard to understand?' I sighed in resignation and took Pekora's hand, then started to walk.

"Eh? W-where are you going peko?" She questioned, as we passed by several stalls.

"Finding an inn of course, we need to find one before sunset. I want to rest a bit too." Looking around for any sign of Inns, I couldn't find one.

"If you are looking for a place to stay, then you are out of luck." A female voice sounded behind me and Pekora, making us turn around.

"Oh it's you peko, the blonde haired magician girl from the diner earlier." Pekora said as she recognized her, as for me, I was busy examining her up close.

Blonde shoulder length hair, a pair of mesmerizing blue eyes, with a monocle over the left one. Brown leather coat draped over her shoulders, accompanied by a white undershirt and a brown short skirt. By her hip is a wand by the looks of it up close.

'A magician huh, first time I see one up close. I can sense the element of Time magicka around her and inside her. A Time Magician, very rare according to my records.' I thought to myself as I look at her intently.

"My eyes are up here mate." Shaken out from my thoughts, I blinked and blushed as I remember where I was staring too intently. It was not my fault that magicka concentration is usually strong around the left chest of a person!

"I-I-I'm sorry, didn't mean to stare at you, ehem. I was just marveling at the fact that I can see one of the rare Time Magicians to exist." Sheepishly rubbing the back of my head, I apologised.

"Eh? Ya can tell that I'm a time magician? That's cool." She tilted her head in surprise, while I can practically feel Pekora beaming in pride right beside me.

'Why are you the one beaming in pride?! You're not the one that is complimented.' I glared at her in the corner of my eyes and scolded her in my mind.

"Ah well, its nothing surprising, I'm sure I'm not the only one who can do so." I shrugged and accepted the praise discretely.

"Anyway, what was that about 'being out of luck' earlier peko?" Pekora butted in and asked about her earlier statement. I'm curious as well, as to why she said that.

"Wait, you two don't know?" She asked in shock.

"Know what exactly peko?" Pekora replied as I just tilted my head in confusion.

"Well, you see, the most prestigious Magicka Academy here, Fruen High is currently accepting new enrollees. As such, the city is filled to the brim by a bunch of hopeful students, aren't you going to try as well?" Oh so that's why there are so many people in the city.

"Hm no, I don't exactly think that Freakin High or something will teach me anything that is worth it anyway." Shrugging my shoulders as I explain, she stared at me in awe.

"Also its Fruen not Freakin, but wow, you must be powerful enough to think like that eh?" She looked at me with a pair of impressed eyes.

"Of course he is! He is the mo-- brurhjskb?!" I covered Pekora's mouth and glared at her. She stiffened and looked at me sheepishly. Don't get me wrong, but I rather not make any source of ruckus by saying I'm the strongest or something.

"Ignore her, oh right! We have been talking for a while now, but you still haven't introduced yourself miss." Taking my hand back from covering Pekora's mouth, after ensuring she wouldn't say anything that will make any ruckus. I looked back at the blonde haired girl.

"Oh right! I totally forgot, I'm sorry for that. I am Amelia Watson, Rufubin's one and only Time Magician. I'm still learning though." Nodding in understanding, I also introduced myself.

"Enma, Fumiyoshi Enma. Fumiyoshi is my surname, and Enma is my initial name. And this Usagi here is Usada Pekora-chan." Pointing my thumb at my chest as I introduced, and then at Pekora, I smiled at her and offered a handshake. She took it gladly with a smile gracing her lips.

"Nice to meet you Fumiyoshi-san. I know this might be sudden, but since you wouldn't exactly find anymore available inns by this time. How bout you stay at my place for now?" I glanced at Pekora after she said that, and Pekora also glanced at me. After a few seconds of staring at me blankly, she nodded.

"Nice to meet you too Watson, and from the looks of it. We are in your care." With that said, she smiled happily and clapped her hands.

"Great! Cmon, Bubba and I will show you the way." Gesturing as to follow her, Pekora was the first one to do so, while I lingered for a bit before following, with one question on my mind.

'Who the hell is Bubba?'
