Gura's POV

It's been four days and every day that passes feels so slow. I'm worried for Artemis-nee, and everyone else back in Atlantis.

Taking a deep breath and shaking my head, we stepped into the fourth Void Gateway Enma-nii made.

Speaking of Enma-nii, he has been quieter and reserved than usual. He isn't yelling out his puns, nor he is pranking Pekora-nee.

Most of the time he is up on a tree and watching the stars at night. While in the daytime, he mostly meditates after conjuring a Void Gateway. He sometimes disappears too, I don't know where he goes, but judging from the sound of explosions and the vibrations of the earth. Those bandits that are always getting in our way are being dealt with.

The more closer we got to Feltiore, the more frequent and powerful the explosions and vibrations become.

Shaking my head to gather my focus, we stepped out of the Void Gateway and was greeted by the fishy scent of the sea.

It made me smile as I felt like home, or more closer to it. I felt a hand at my head, so I turned around to look up at Enma-nii. He smiled at me.

"We're near Gura." I teared up a bit before looking away and pouted.

"I know that you stoopid Aniki." He only laughed at me lightly before walking forwards first.

"Let's go, there is someone I'd like you to all meet. I just hope she isn't horny at this time of day." Enma-nii muttered something at the end of his sentence, and I blanched when he mentioned the word 'horny'.

'Oh no, it's that's pervy pirate again.' Enma-nii and I shared a worried glance before sighing in exasperation.

As we approach the gates of Feltiore, we were assaulted by a sudden bout of Magicka pressure. Hoshimachi and Amelia were surprised and were brought down to their knees, while I summoned my trident to support my body. Enma-nii and Pekora-nee on the other hand glared at the front.

"I knew you would come here eventually... Arch-Mage Enma..." A heavily distorted voice sounded out in front of us, I forced my head up to look and when I did, my eyes dilated, and I tensed. Wrath filled my whole being as my consciousness blurred. A roar tore its way through my mouth as I hefted my trident and dashed.

3rd POV

"RAHHHHHH!!!" A bestial roar echoed out in the field as Gura pounced forwards.

"Gura no!" Enma shouted immediately when he noticed Gura's figure leaving his side and dashing towards the figure in front of them at great speeds. A trail of dust was left behind by Gura as she approached the figure.

Twirling her trident behind her, Gura suddenly jumped and drew a vertical arc in the air as she positioned above the figure.

"YOU!" Gura snarled and conjured a water platform behind her before pushing downwards.

"FIVE POINT AVARICE, DEATH THRUST!" Pulling her trident backward, Gura's eyes glinted in ruthlessness before using one of the killing techniques of Atlantis.

Five Point Avarice, Death Thrust is a technique that requires supreme focus and pinpoint accuracy. Once used, it will draw a star-shaped prison surrounding the target, limiting their movement to nil. Avarice true to its meaning, greeds over the death of its target. As such, there were no cases of others surviving that technique.

However, due to Gura's wrath-filled consciousness, she forgot that Five Point Avarice is needed to be performed underwater for water to follow the Avarice and make a star prison. As such, the figure easily dodges her attack and unleashed a bunch of dark violet flabby and fat-looking tentacles.

"Cursed Herald, Pierce!" Said tentacles suddenly went under a great transformation as they withered at a visible rate and became thinner. Their tips gradually became sharper and sharper until they glinted like metal.

Pointing at the cloud of dust Gura brought up, the tentacles launched forwards at unimaginable speeds and pierced the cloud of dust. However, the figure frowned as she noted the lack of the feeling of flesh being penetrated.

Her eyes widened when she took notice of a blue glint at the corner of her right eye.

To the side of the cloud of dust, a trail of unnoticeable dust gradually faded as Gura's figure was seen.

The figure hurriedly withdrew the tentacles and faced Gura. However, Gura disappeared from her vision, confused and surprised, she wanted to look around but was interrupted by a voice behind her.

"You took Sky away..." She gasped in pain as Gura's trident slapped her hard on the side. Gura sent her flying and followed her immediately on her trail.

"You took daddy away too..." She tried to find where the voice was coming from, but due to her spinning in the air, and the tentacles blocking her view, she didn't notice Gura above her.

A snarl was painted on Gura's face as she slammed down the trident to the figure, sending her way down to the ground and cratering it.

Gura landed at the peripheral of the crater she made. Her face still snarling, but two tears at some point had run down her cheeks.

"You-" Gura opened her mouth to deal, but a huge tentacle suddenly appeared from the crater and slammed into her.

Gura shouted in pain as she was sent careening to the side and broke a couple of trees. She slammed heavily to a big tree and coughed up blood.

"Boohoo, my parents and sister are dead. Do you think I care about you nor your parent's and sister's pathetic lives?!" A heavily distorted voice shouted from the crater as the dust cloud faded away. Standing on top of a grotesque-looking monster, the figure's features was for all to see.

Long violet hair that reached down to her knees. A small crown on her forehead, two squishy appendages framing her face from both sides bathe in the color of orange and violet. A misplaced snarl that doesn't fit her soft pretty face, and an ancient-looking tome floating by her side.

Her deep violet eyes overflowed in madness and killing intent.

To the side, Amelia gasped. Enma and Pekora immediately noted that and asked her why she gasped.

"I know her, she was one of Fruen's prodigies. Ninomae Ina'nis a once in a lifetime prodigy in terms of summoning Magicka." Amelia narrated as Ina threw her tentacle spears at Gura's lying form.

Gura winced in pain as she forcefully rolled to the side. The big tree she was leaning on earlier was toppled immediately when those tentacle spears slammed into it.

"What do you know about her? Was she always like this?" Enma asked urgently as his suspicions are getting stronger by the second.

"N-no, Ina was one of my friends as she is the only one who can understand me. She always liked to make puns and joke around. She isn't like this crazed heretic!" Amelia shouted at the near end of her statement.

"Enma... You can feel it, can you?" Pekora asked, to which, Enma heavily nodded as they both stared at the tome flying beside Ina.

"Something is wrong with that Tome, it's like your Grimoire Enma. Sentient,  but this one isn't malevolent." Enma nodded to Pekora's words as he felt his Grimoire pulsing indignantly. As if wanting to say.

'I'm not some ancient old-looking paper, do not compare me to that trash!'

"I--" Enma couldn't finish his sentence when his eyes contracted and grabbed both Hoshimachi and Amelia and teleporting to the side. Pekora on the other summoned a big shield carrot and braced herself.

BOOM!!

A shockwave ripped through the field as a huge dust cloud exploded, blinding everyone temporally.

"YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME! AND YOU! SHALL PAY WITH YOUR LIFE!" Gura's enraged roar echoed amid the dust cloud before a rumbling was felt by everyone.

"ATLANTIS FORBIDDEN MAGICKA ENHANCEMENT. TYRANT OF THE SEA, BLOOP COME OUT!"

"GURA!" Enma's worried shout was heard before a massive figure appeared above.

With a length of about 47 feet, a gargantuan shark floated in the air above Gura. Its underbelly is covered in mist as a way to traverse the air. Its face snarling as drool dripped from the corners of its mouth. Bloop can feel the hatred and thirst for revenge that Gura has, and as such, it affected his appearance greatly as well.

Ina, however, was unperturbed about Bloop's sudden appearance or size. Laughing lightly, she jumped off the grotesque-looking monster she was standing on.

Finally allowed to move freely, a huge Eldritch being that goes by the name of Arwassa, stretched its body to its limits and was just big as Bloop.

Both gargantuan creatures stared at each other before pouncing. Shockwaves became frequent as Enma made a huge dome of earth and rocks to hide both Amelia and Hoshimachi.

He stepped out and went to Pekora's side, and looked on in worry.

While Bloop and Arwassa crashed and pounced at each other above the air. Gura and Ina, we're exchanging blows upon blows to each other down below.

A snarl permanently placed on Gura's face, while mad and crazed look dawn on Ina's visage.

A shriek from above took everyone's attention as Arwassa was tossed to the side by Bloop. It crashed onto a hill and flattened it to the ground.

Numerous bite marks run across its human-like torso, and two of its limbs are bitten off by Bloop. It cried and shrieked in pain, as Bloop snarled and looked down at it.

"FINISH IT BLOOP!" Gura shouted from below, as Bloop opened his mouth wide and condensed a huge amount of Magicka. Enma's eyes widened before taking everyone else, except for Gura and Ina, away from the battlefield.

"Is that...?" Amelia pointed and turned to Enma.

"Yes, that's a Riverim. But once someone like Bloop uses it, its devastation and damage are more than triple of what it can do." Amelia gasped and turned back to Bloop's looming figure and opened jaws.

A huge ball of water, much larger than the last one Enma used, condensed.

"You guys stay here. I'll stop the damage from reaching Feltiore. Pekora, keep them safe." Pekora nodded, as Enma jumped away and went in the direction of Feltiore.

Meanwhile, Gura was having a hard time dodging multiple tentacle spears thrown at her. She twirled her trident, before bending back. Nearly getting hit by a hidden tentacle. It flew just about a few centimeters from her nose, before being withdrawn.

Kicking her leg up, Gura somersaulted to dodge most of the tentacles thrown at her. Ina clicked her tongue at her miss but continued to chase after Gura's airborne figure.

"Can't dodge now while you are up there, can you?" Ina smirked, as Gura panicked visibly.

"Gilded Rose, Blooming Death!" Ina's tentacles spread around her before Magicka essence poured into them.

Gura who was up in the air noted how they really look like a rose before shaking her head. A black rose blooming towards her. Its pointy thorns filled with ominous curses.

Ina smirked as she closed her opened palms, the tentacle rose closed around Gura's figure as she desperately tried to cut them off.

At the last second though, Ina was gripped by a sudden feeling of danger.

She looked up at Gura and her eyes widened.

"Boom," Gura said before her whole body lighted up like fireworks.

Boom!

Ina wasn't able to react in time when a three-pointed trident pierced her stomach from behind.

"Gotcha..."

BOOOOOOOM!!

Bloop's Riverim was then unleashed at the exact same moment of Gura piercing Ina's stomach.

"Domain Expansion! Elemental Synergy!" Enma's voice echoed out as a curtain of darkness befall on all of them.
