1 Thank god it was a dream

"Its so late right now, what should I do ? I need to go home soon" thinks Mitakshi. Mitakshi is a 24 year old writer, who likes peacefully sitting and writing in café which is just 500m away from her house.

"Are you sure you would be able to go home alone ? I heard a zombie was seen in our city" asked the café receptionist. To which Mitakshi answers 'ahhh! there is nothing like zombie, people might be making up these things trying to scare others. You know how it is' and packs her stuff. Even though she acts brave she was still scared. She walks as fast as she could looking around.

Suddenly, a man appears in front of her. The man with bruises all over his face, three eyes, one leg and green hands smiles at her and says 'Should I turn your head the other side so that you wont be able to see yourself being eaten'. Mitakshi screams and runs away from there and hides beside a tank in a nearby construction site. She then hears heavy footsteps walking towards her but she cant figure out from which side the sound of footsteps is coming from.

She then hears a voice screaming 'Wake up! I said wake up you lazy brat'. Mitakshi opens her eyes astonished and realizes it was all a dream. Thank god it was a dream she murmurs. Why are you this lazy? what do I do with you? you literally have no sense of responsibility exclaims Mitakshi's mother. Mom you know I work till late so just let me sleep, says Mitakshi. To which her mother reminds her that se has to drop her to the airport. (Mitakshi's parents lives in a small town and they run a small restaurant there, Mitakshi's mother visits her often as she lives alone in the city)

You have taken everything with you, right? asks Mitakshi to her mother. Yeah!! now hurry up and drop me to the airport I am already late because of you, you brat says the mother.

Mitakshi-MOM will you ever stop nagging me, we aren't late.

(They sit in the car and talks while Mitakshi drives)

Mother- I wonder if there was a parallel universe and if there's a responsible and mature girl with a face like you.

Mitakshi - (laughingly) Mom even in the parallel universe I believe I would still be a brat and would have a mother like you who loves nagging her innocent daughter.

Mother - Ahhh! I don't even know what do I do with you. Anyways, take care of yourself and finish the mango pickle I made for you.

Mitakshi and her mother reaches the airport and the mother leaves in hurry thinking she might miss her flight.

(But little did they know that parallel worlds truly exist and one of the world is WORLD OF MAGES. The world of mages have a strange power in its atmosphere in which magic truly exist. The people from rich and prestige families actually have the power to learn and perform magic.)

(And somebody who actually looks like mitakshi does exist in the parallel world too. Only their body and face are alike but personality, thoughts and manner of speech are completely different. Arin, princess of a prestige family, is a calm, passionate yet stubborn and extremely talented girl. Though she owns the same face as mitakshi, she is completely different from her.)

Mitakshi drops her mother and goes back to her house hurriedly because she had to complete her novel's episode and submit it to the editor tomorrow.

WHILE IN THE OTHER WORLD (WORLD OF MAGES)

FENNY (Arin's personal maid) - Princess arin, what if Queen of Auber finds out?

( Auber is a small district in the main city Klover, which is also the capital and Queen of Auber is arin's mother )

Arin - I can't be worried about it forever and not learn Magic of mirror. Once I successfully perform it I will tell about it myself to the Queen.

Fenny - But what if something goes wrong ?

Arin - (angrily) I have worked so hard and reached 8th level of magic not to get scarred over challenges and not being able to face them. As a daughter of Auber, I should be able to perform Magic of mirror otherwise being blessed with such magic is not a small things. Since only women of Auber family can perform it I should be the one and take over after the Queen.

Fenny - I understand that princess but shouldn't you wait for some more years. You are too young to perform it right now.

Arin - I want see what's behind the mirror and how does the parallel world look like by myself.

(The mirrors in Auber palace are all magical and they have a way to parallel world. But not everyone can perform it and many woman of Auber family can't perform it because they aren't capable enough. Arin's mother is the only one who could perform this Mirror magic and visit parallel world and she warned Arin about not even thinking of performing this magic because the parallel world might be dangerous too or she might not be able to come back to her own world.)

Arin is stubborn when it comes to art of magic and her curiosity grows even more after listening to the Queen. She tried performing it several times but failed every time.

Arin - This time I am even more concentrated and I will spell every word very carefully so the doors to another world might open. Fenny, if you say anything or disturb me this time I might abandon you, got it?

Fenny - (shivery tone) ohhhkay princess Arin.

Arin spells the cast with her hand enchantingly and throws a blue beam towards a mirror. Mirror starts melting and looks like water. Arin is able to create the way to another world this time. Fenny couldn't believe about such a young princess being able to open doors to another world and Arin smiles joyfully about being about to do that after so many failed attempts.

But the cast remains just for 10 seconds and turns back to the normal mirror. This time too Arin failed to go to another world.

Arin - KYaaaa!! I failed this time again. Though it opened just for 10 seconds it wasn't enough.

Fenny - Princess you did well this time...

(voice of door knock)

Arin - Come in.

Maid - Princess arin, Queen is calling you.

Arin - okay, I will be there in a while. Lets go fenny.

Fenny and Arin leaves the room. While the mirror was still melting but in a different way as if it was broken.
