Chapter Four
Isabella mouthed a 'Thank you' to the cashier as she was handed a bag that included all her accessories which was worth five million dollars,the bag was taken away from her by Fuego who helps be carry it to the Limouzine.
"So what your plans for the day?" Lucas asksled as they walk together towards the limouzine.
Isabella smiled warmly at him"There is nothing much to do. I just need to be at the art gallery,what about you,any business meetings to attend?"
Lucas held her hand softly"I could cancel all my plans just to be with you"
A spark of desire ignited within her,it was funny how she liked the way his hand felt on her skin.
She quickly adjusted "Well that's too bad,some of us have a big day ahead of us"Isabella said.
"I know you are trying to avoid me; but I think we need to talk about the wedding"
Isabella heaved a sigh,she looked away.
"Yes we need to do that"
"So, can we go to my place now?"
"Sure,after discussing about the proposals I go to the gallery immediately"
"The choice is all yours baby"
It was a 20 minutes drive to Lucas house,finally they had reached the destination,Fuego opened the door for Lucas and Isabella.
As soon as she alighted she was stunned at the sight of the building,it looked like a mansion one would only see in movies.
" Is this your house?"Isabella asked with curiosity,she couldn't believe this was where she would be living after getting married to him.
" Yes, this is my house."Lucas replied. " Let's go in"
They stepped into the mansion and the warmth of the mansion felt so appeasing for Isabella, she tried hard not to look around. The interior of the house was indeed very expensive.
"You have got a beautiful house sir" Isabella confessed.
" So I have heard countless of times,Thanks for the compliment anyways,let's go to my study room to discuss " Lucas said as they both walked straight to the hall way before entering a room,the room was so big and neatly arranged with books.
"Lovely study room you have got Mr Lucas"Isabella said.
"Thank you Bells"
Isabella walked around for a while,her blue eyes rested it's gaze on a big black book lying idly on the table, as she reached out to take it curios of what it would contain,Lucas grabbed it before her.
" You can look Bells,no touching in here"Lucas said sensually.
Isabella smiled. "My apologies"
They both sat on the cushion ,Lucas poured wine for both of them. He then placed his Palm on her forehead.
" What are you doing sir?" Isabella asked
She found it a little bit weird that he would do this to her.
"You are hot, I mean temperature wise too,are you sure you are okay?"
"I know this game you are playing,if you think I'll let you fuck me then you are day dreaming,llet's just talk about what we are here for,some of us have things we need to get back to"
" Jeezz,why so harsh?"Lucas said smiling,
How could he even be smiling right now,Isabella thought. He still looked annoying but still attractive.
"Okay,let's go down to business"
" So When are we going to get married?" Isabella asked impatiently.
"As soon as you want Bells"
A notification popped on her phone.
" Excuse me," she says as she reads it.
"Stay away from him or you would regret it" Isabella laughed out loud.
" What's funny?"Lucas asked.
" Just some jobless people sending me texts and calling me to threaten me"Isabella responded.
Lucas shifted his weight from the sofa sitting up. " Can I take a look at this text?"
"Sure,you can" Isabella said handing the cellphone to him.
Lucas reads it and hands her back the phone.
" Some specific are after your life and I think I know who they might be. But you don't have to worry,no harm would come near you or your father as long as you are with me" Lucas reassured Isabella.
She stares at him unbelievably," How do you know all these? And why are they threatening me? Am I in some kind of danger or what?" Isabella demanded she couldn't believe he had something to do with this. " Am I some kind of danger associating with your ass?"
"Like I said,if you stick with me,you would be safe"
"Please tell me who you really are and why people are after my life,cause I was living a normal life before you walked right into it then calls from an unknown person threatening me and my father,followed by text now,I am scared"
"You don't have to worry Bella,as long as you are with me your family is safe,and like I said I am a very wealthy man,not everyone is happy with that,it could even be one of my crazy ex girlfriend,you don't have to worry." Lucas came closer to her" I'll protect you belle" the tone on which he said it was very seductive,she bit her lips immediately so she wouldn't give in to his seduction.
" I need to leave now,my gallery awaits me" Isabella said standing up to leave,he stands up too ,they are facing one another ,she looks up at him, enchanted my his stare.
" I know you want me" Lucas said, coming closer to her,he then bends over to place a kiss on her lips.
