At the Donovan's mansion
"Father!"Dan came back to the mansion only because he needed to know what was going on,he already had a brief idea on what was going on.
"Oh! Look who showed up!The prodigal son."He said acting surprised.
"Just quit the act old man."
"I'm not old!If you call me old, then what about the one who is snoring there?"he said pointing at an old man on the couch.
"Mind your language young man,who told you I am sleeping."he looked at Paul,Dan and Dean's father,then said,"do I look like someone who's sleeping?There are a lot of things I still have to imagine while closing my eyes,like the day you will accept that you're already old.I mean, you're already in the early stages of being old, the stage where you sit down with a magazine waiting for your sons to come back."After he said that he grinned at Paul who was putting down the magazine he was holding."Don't worry,just continue reading,you won't be charged for being idle, I was also in that stage before, the only thing you've forgotten is to ask the butler to bring coffee for Dan."
"Dan,why are you here?I thought you'd already figured out the next step!"Paul asked
"Paa...!"
"Okay,butler bring tea at the study room."Paul said as he stood and started walking up the stairs.
"I told you so...old people don't like coffee.Stage two!"Grandpa said, his eyes still closed as if he was talking to himself.
"Father,if you have nothing to do you can go fishing outside.The pond has a lot of fish"Paul said.
"I am waiting for you my partner."
"This house ,everyone knows how to talk back, what's more frightening is even old people."Dan said
"I am still waiting for a great granddaughter,I'm tired of seeing the same people everyday,carrying the same physical features as mine.Nothing different."grandpa spoke out.Maxwel the butler was passing and almost tripped at the stairs after hearing the old man 's comment and Paul who was heading upstairs with a cup of tea, sipping slowly while taking two steps at a time, almost choked.
The only calm one was Dan,"Grandpa,dream on!"
Two days later
Dead Man was already tired of trying to gain information from Dean.He has tried all the easy ways but failed,he isn't even screaming!He decided to meet the boss and ask if he could use the other methods.
He knocked at the office door and only entered after he was allowed.He found Jim standing and with some files in his hands."Sir,the man isn't saying anything.Should I use the hard way?"
"Wait, I am coming there after I finish signing these docs."After the dead Man left,Ace went back to focusing on the documents,"You were saying something about the casino,go on."He spoke to Jin while still focused on the papers.After sometimes,there was still no reply from Jin,"He looked up at him,"were you done explaining?"He asked,but then noticed Jin was completely focused on the phone as if he was reading something serious,he wasn't the type too gaze at the phone unless the information was important."What's wrong,Jin?"He spoke up,this time,his voice was more domineering than a while ago causing Jin to jump in fright.
"B..b...boss,I think this is related to the man we captured.He came back three days ago.He is a lawyer and it is said he was here to take on a case of a raped girl.Also his arrival time does not match with the time the containers were hijacked!"
Ace immediately stood up, walking faster than he had ever done,"Take me to the dungeon."Jim couldn't match up his steps.The man was quick yet they're of the same height!So he tried too catch up with his steps the best way he could.When they arrived at the dungeon,he didn't even wait for the guards to open the door,he did it himself."Gail where is he?"Gail was Dead Man's real name,he was given that nickname because he shows no mercy to anyone neither does he even have emotions.
Gail quickly stood up after hearing his name,then pointed at the direction where the man was.The view was of a man seated in a sit with his hands tied behind it,his head was hanging low and he had no shirt on,only the sweatpant.He moved closer,the room was dim,one couldn't see clearly "turn on the light."He ordered and as if on cue,the man lifted his head and tried to adjust to the light.
Ace moved closer and closer but stopped after the man opened his eyes.His heart started racing within a speed that could not be measured.'Was it joy or panick!?'he thought to himself.'Atlast! I found him.'
Dean forced out a smile even though his whole body felt weak,even though they call it easy torture then a normal being like Justin wouldn't survive.He is still wondering why his brother always includes the guy in every mission."Oh!Now the boss decided to come down himself?So, what other methods will you use?Will it be the hard way?Oh and your so called Dead Man said he will gauge out my eyes,I have waited and am still waiting,I don't know when he is planning to take the action."
The moment he said that,Ace turned to look at Gail and gave him a deadly glare.He can't imagine the only clue he had to finding this man was about to be taken out!His turquoise green eyes,was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and now he was right infront of him.Was it a coincidence or was it fate!?
He kept quite for a while as if thinking of what to say and the next thing he said,made Gail and Jim almost drop dead,"forgive my men's negligence,can I take you out for dinner as an apology!?"
