Chapter nine

After about two years Lily was done with fashion designing but sadly Asher couldn't attend her graduation ceremony because he still had two years before he graduates. Few days after lily's graduation Asher arranged for her to come to USA to stay with him until he finished studying. After a very long flight lily finally got to USA and Asher was able to pick up from the airport. Lily didn't know that Asher came to pick her up from the airport himself and he ended up surprising with a bouquet of pink roses and some chocolates. When lily saw Asher she dropped her luggage and ran towards him and kisses him. She hadn't seen him for two years sure they did video calls but it wasn't the same. Asher was living in an apartment off campus so lily could stay there with him. The pass few days with Asher was fun. Even though he had to go to the university he still made out time for lily. Everything was going smoothly. Two years later Asher finished business administration and he had a secure job as the CEO of the AA industries. On the 27th of May was lily's birthday and Asher bought all kinds of gifts. They had already returned home few days before. He took her to all kinds of places and he made sure that this would be a day to remember. When they got home Asher told her freshen up and get ready because he want to take her out on a date. This would be there first ever official date so lily made sure she dressed gorgeously. She wore a red evening gown and black flat shoes. She wore light makeup and she took along with her a small black purse. She wore diamond earrings with a matching diamond necklace. On the other hand Asher wore a white shirt and black suit and tie, black trousers and black shoes. Asher took lily to fancy restaurant. He reserved the VIP part of the restaurant where they could eat alone. There was rose petals spread all over the floor. Instrumentalists were playing in the background. There was a bottle of champagne on their table. Lily was mesmerized by the romantic scene and she could her but cry tears of joy. She thanked Asher for making her birthday very special. They ordered something light to eat and they drank the champagne and went home. Asher posted pictures of his date with lily who knew he would soon regret it.
