"My bed is small," Elleard said with a smile. "So, it's better if I come here, instead of your come to my room."

His words made Elena realize that she didn't mishear him. He did say he would spend the night here. Elena was dazed and didn't know what to say for a moment.

"I..." Elena batted her eyes when she looked at him and then smiled so sweetly. She decided to not ask questions. She wouldn't even discuss their agreement. She wanted to savor this moment when she could spend the night with her husband, with Elleard whom she loved.

Elleard smirked when he saw the happy glint in her eyes. He was pleased to know Elena was truly a simple woman with low maintenance. It was so easy to make her happy.

Elleard touched Elena's hand and pulled her closer to him. She was dazed when he grabbed her face gently with both hands and planted a sweet kiss on her lips.
