Chapter 6.

  The rays of the sun were shining bright on my face, and I was too weak to get up, I looked at the time it was 8:21 in the morning, I hadn't eaten last night cause I slept off quickly,  sleeping after a bad day was a way for me to get away from the world and it's drama at least if I can't have peace in my life I can create one in my dreams. I got up removed my pyjamas and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

  I was done taking my bath, and I was sitting close to the mirror stand and combing my hair, I had a lot on my mind to say and some truths I wasn't ready to accept but the best thing for me was to ignore everything and stay out of trouble till dad comes back from whatever is keeping him busy. the last time I saw him was like a month ago, we still have our differences but that doesn't me I don't care for him being the stubborn daughter he has, I might not show it, but I do care about my dad.

  I was done eating although I did not make it on time for breakfast and thankfully I didn't have to see Debbie and her sidekicks cause I ate alone, I was hoping I would see Suzanne apologize to her I felt awful for sending her away like that, I hope she will understand. I was walking back to my room when I spotted Suzanne coming from the hallway

  " hey Kelly you came out," Suzanne said with excitement written on her face

  "yes, I was hungry so I had to, where have you been I was hoping to see you," I said to her.

  " I am just coming from your room now,  I had come earlier to inform you that breakfast was ready but when I knocked on your door there was no response, I left thinking you wanted space". She said, I noticed she wasn't wearing her uniform but she was wearing casual clothes

  " I was still sleeping that's why, sorry about that" Um..  Suzanne about yesterday I am sorry I pushed you away I hope you are not upset." I said wanting to know how she felt.

  "It's fine, you don't need to apologise. I wasn't upset or anything besides I also will be annoyed if someone bugs me too much when I'm moody ".  We both chuckled at what she said, 

  "Thanks, so you going out or something?" I asked curious. 

  " oooo um... I am going back home to see my parents it's been a while" she said.

  "wow, nice" I said not knowing what to say

  "but I will be back though it's just for a week, if I take more than that Mrs Richard will kill me" she said in a funny tone and I chuckled.

  "Are you going now, if you're not  I could use some company before I die of boredom" she smiled

  " sure I will be glad," she said.

  It wasn't time for her to go yet so we talked for a while it was really fun having something to talk to, I got to know some things about Suzanne, she was quite a chatterbox she kept talking while I listened, and she a free-spirited and funny nature. Taking to her just made me realise how much I missed Nana. We chatted for about an hour before she left.

  I was back to the sad morning room coming back to the way I left it, with my back facing the door I looked around the room for the first time noticing how awful the deco looked, before I was interrupted by a knock on my door. I flenched to the unexpected knock, Suzanne had gone who could it be I assumed as the knock came again. 

Without wasting any much time I twisted the door nod and opened it only to see Philip standing right outside my doors, what was he doing here I wondered. 

  "Hi Kelly I may have not introduced myself properly but ( he breaths in and out) hi I'm Phi... " I cut him off

  "yes, I know your name is Philip, what do you want?" I asked to know why he was there.

  " I just wanted to say I am sorry about yesterday, Sarah told me everything and she is also sorry". He said as he scratched the back of his neck.

  " I see, did she send you to come apologies on her behalf or...." I turned around backing him.

  "no not at all, she didn't, I came here for another reason, I wanted to ask if you are interested in going to the park with us, I....." I cut him off again turning to face him this time.

  " no, but thanks, you all should go have fun while I think about my paintings that were destroyed'. I said giving a fake smile this time.

  "Alright then, once again sorry about the paintings," he said looking sad and then he left.

  I rolled my eyes as I closed my door and went to my balcony for fresh air, I closed my eyes to the wind coming my way then opened my eyes to see a standing image of Debbie and Serah down from my room's balcony. It seemed like they were waiting for someone. 

  " so is she coming?" serah was talking to someone in couldn't see properly. It only took me time to notice she was referring to me and talking to Philip.

  " no, she said she has something to do," Philip said 

  " see I told you guys she is an anti-social freak, all she does is paint her way out of depression, what a waste of time," Debbie said running her hands through her hair.

  "you don't need to be mean all the time you know," Philip said annoyed and left Debbie and Serah behind.

  "At least wait for us" Debbie said as they followed after him.

I tried not to get hurt by what she said cause she was still going to say mean things to me anyway, I stood there still enjoying the breeze, my life was just a roller coaster nothing fun in it just a miserable sad girl trying to find herself.
