Chapter 50: Epilogue

Months had turned into years, and even as they had spent more time together, Thea couldn’t help but be amazed every single day by the work ethic that Ash had started once they had returned from vacation after the proposal. He had started to come home earlier and make sure that he cleaned up at least every other day instead of staying late at the office every single day. She had known that he had things to get straightened out even after stepping down from the leader of the mafia and didn’t blame him for anything.

The wedding had been beautiful, at least it was to her. Looking back on it she knew that there were a few things they could’ve done differently. One thing for sure was that she would have changed her bridesmaids dresses into something warmer since they had the wedding during fall of the same year.
