Chapter 41: More Research

Thea hadn’t heard from Ash in nearly two weeks, and in that time, he had given her a paid two week vacation. Which gave her nothing but time to think about what he had said when he broke up with her, he couldn’t have done it for the reasons that he told her, at least she didn’t believe he would. An angry growl came from her as she laid in her bed, only growing more upset by the moment the longer she thought about it.

“Why couldn’t you have told me.” She huffed at no one in particular, turning onto her side as she reached for her phone and unlocked it, checking her messages as though he would’ve texted her. Her wolf hadn’t made an appearance or a peep since the breakup, and she honestly couldn’t blame her with how things had gone. She did curse at him, told him that she would have a normal life without him in it, and didn’t bother to listen to anything else he had to say. Not that it was much anyway.
