Chapter 35: Coffee Date
Thea had been quiet, almost too quiet over the next week at work, and it was starting to make Ash uncomfortable. Ever since that night, she had been avoiding him and avoiding going out with him. He huffed as he leaned back in his office chair, going over everything that could have possibly happened that night. He glanced down at his phone as another text had come in, he had been getting them all morning, probably because of the news he spread through his group.
‘Are you sure you really want to do this Ash? You’ve been working at this for so long and have come so far… Does she really mean that much to you?’ The text read from one of his group members, a sigh had come from him as he began to type back.
