Chapter 30: Search

“Ash? Where on earth are you?” Thea growled, though as she heard a quiet chuckle, her wolf had begun to go nuts at the sound and it took her a moment to get her to calm down as she let out a quiet, calming sigh. “This isn’t funny anymore, no tricks, I don’t like them, just tell me where you are so I can come check on you please…” She begged quietly as she waited for another response, the sound of shuffling echoing, she was starting to hate it.

“I can’t tell you where I am, Thea, but I am okay. I’ll be home soon, I promise, I don’t know if it’ll be tonight but… I will go to your house once I’m done tying up the loose ends okay?” Ash responded after a few moments of silence had passed between them. Another growl erupted from Thea as she had gotten out of bed and made her way to her front door, she slipped on her shoes and grabbed her keys.
