“I… Don’t ever take that kind of sh*t from me again.” Ash stated, though regret had begun to fill his features. “I never wanted to hurt you, and I never wanted you to feel like that. But, you have to understand…” He was cut off before he could finish.
“Understand? Ash you’ve told me nothing other than what you do at your company! You never told me why sometimes you come in with bruises and cuts all over your hands, or why you have to take phone calls several times a day when I know for a fact that you don’t have a meeting…” Thea growled softly. “Don’t lie to me anymore, if you do, we’re done… I don’t deserve to keep taking this kind of sh*t from you or anyone.”
