"Ahhh," I gasped as I got out of bed and sat up, rubbing my eyes, sweating heavily. My eyes widened like saucers as I jumped out of bed and headed straight for the bathroom as soon as I realized it was just a dream, even though it felt so real. I checked the clock and realized I was 20 minutes late for work.

I quickly showered and brushed my teeth before gulping down some iced coffee and curling my natural raven black hair into a ponytail. I grabbed my purse and rushed out of my apartment, hailing a cab and heading straight for Yates Enterprises.
