'I have to run.' Tanos thought, running as fast as he could away from this battlefield.

'I don't know where these goblins come from, but I must report this to the city lord.' His expression was dark, recalling how the goblin had effortlessly defeated the guild leader of the Golden Serenity.

Although he feels guilty for fleeing and leaving his son, who is most likely still alive, he cherishes his life more than anything, so it must be done. "AHHHH!!!!" He clutched his hand as he screamed out in pain and fell to his knees.

As he was overly consumed with dealing with the horrible pain, large green-skinned feet descended, casting a large shadow over his head.

The next moment, the tremendous force behind the stomp sent Tano's head smashing into the earth and a spider-web cracking pattern across the ground.

"Garw Garw" (Tryna run, boy? Not going to happen on my watch,) Leo said as he pressed the man's head even harder into the ground.

"Gehehe" He laughed out loud, enjoying the painful cries of the suffering man.

"AHHHH!! STOPP!!" Tanos shouted in a pleading tone; at this rate, his head would be crushed.

Surprisingly, the goblin removed his feet from his head, causing him to exhale a sigh of relief, but his expression remained contorted due to the excruciating pain he was experiencing from losing his hand.

"Garw Garw" (Hey you over there, go call my son here!) Leo shouted to one of the goblins that were nearby, jabbing his short dagger at a wolf-human corpse.

A few minutes later, the goblin could be seen running back, with Noah following behind him.

'Boy went on a killing spree.' Leo thought, observing the bloodstained visage of Noah and the bloodied sword in his grasp.

"Dad, why did you call me? Did you need anything?" Noah said as he wiped off the blood on his face.

"Garw Garw" (translate my words to this guy here) Saying so, he gestured with his finger at the man on the ground, whose shocked expression was fixed on Noah, who had just arrived. The boy he was looking at resembled a lot like the missing mage girl, so it wasn't strange for him to feel astonished.

'It's the only choice I have to survive…' Tanos thought to himself. He will stop at nothing to survive, even if it means becoming a monster tool since he fears death.

"Huff… Huff, I will be-become your slave. Huff, huff huff" He spoke weakly, agreeing to their condition, as he began to feel light-headed from all the blood loss.

"Garw Garw" (Hm? That sure was fast; I guess you really want to live. ) Leo said this with amusement to the man, even though he knew he wouldn't understand him. Still, since he had agreed, Leo grabbed the man by the head and began activating his skill [Enslave]. "Garw Garw" (Noah tells him to not resist, or he's dead)

"Don't resist, that is, if you don't want to die." Noah translated.

"Argh!!" Tanos let out a painful cry from the burning pain he felt as the goblin's mana entered his body through his head, traveling from his head to his magic core. Soon, mana closed in on his magic core as it formed chains around it, caging it.

'JUST WHAT IS HAPPENING?' Arthur screamed inwardly as he fended off the goblins that surrounded him.

The goblins lunged forward as he struggled to push them back, as he suffered many wounds from the previously abrupt explosion of flame.

He raised his sword to block the blow aimed at his head, but as he did so, a goblin behind him struck his short sword into his leg, causing him to scream in agony.

"YOU BASTARD!!" He swung his sword backward and sliced the goblin in half.

'SHIT SHIT SHIT!!' He cursed inwardly; at this rate, he was going to be killed by these mere goblins! 'Where the hell is Father?'

A sudden projectile punctured his back, causing him to cough a mouthful of blood. A cold sensation spread from his back where the projectile hit.

"WHO DARE!?" He shouted in rage and turned his body around toward where the projectile came from.

"Huh!?" His eyes widened in shock at seeing the person who had fired the projectile. "MIA!?"
