Ken read the manual deeply to find clues to hidden messages and found that unlike the employers who expect their law to follow the end the yin-yang palace rules are more lax and flexible for those who can use them properly.

For example the beginning the manual states that you can't plot against or kill members of the sect but we haven't officially joined the sect so you can kill slaughter other candidates and get away with it.

The book says on average accepts 15000 candidates of which 80 percent survive the selection process and join the sect. 

That means only 12000 joined the sect but there is more from this only 10 percent became an outer disciple the rest being honorary disciples which comes down to 1200 people.

Above outer disciples are inner disciples which take up only 1 percent of 1200 outer disciples which is 12 people.

These inner disciples are accepted by the 13 peaks of the sect and the remaining peak that didn't get an inner disciple can choose the best 100 outer disciples it wants whether the candidates like it or not.

Sometimes they find a heavenly genius among the disciples, if that happens it all depends on his/her choice and the peak she chooses will have to forfeit in the selection of the inner disciples their quota for honorary disciples will be reduced.

Ken wanted to be on the group of outer disciples without being in the top hundred to keep his freedom but it will come at a cost of cultivation resources.

Ken Finished reading the manual cover to cover and put it down to see another exciting thing the bottles he got from the cultivator at the pub. The cultivator said this was a serum used for enriching and stimulating cultivators.

The cultivator guessed that Ken was skinny because he didn't have enough to eat so he gave him body elevation serum which was used by cultivators and called his debt settled thinking that most of the effects would be lost being used by a mortal. We'll all he cared about was his karmic luck.

Boy did he guess wrong ken needed something like this so ken popped one bottle and it smelled like pig fat. But he just drank it with one shot expecting to feel something but it didn't come so he opened the second bottle and down it thinking they had to be taken together.

Ken slowly got an itch in his skin so he went into the bathroom to take a shower but it only got worse over time after 10 minutes it became a full-blown fever as parts of his skin started to fall off.

Ken felt like he was boiled alive. He gritted his teeth and endured the pain and after some time the pain started to subside.

On the top level of the ship, sect elders were scrabbling because clouds were converging above the ship. 

One elder thunders "Where is the cloud conception elder the tribulation lightning is about to hit the ship?"

As other elders were extending their spiritual sense. A sleepy woman walked in yawning like nothing was going on "Relax will you it isn't a tribulation lightning but a blessing I think some treasure is being born in the city and even if it is inside it will just pass through us and hit the target."

Not all the elders were convinced and stayed watching the clouds accumulate to strike after a few hours in the middle of the night the clouds suddenly rumbled and lit up the night sky above the thousand fragrance city followed by a violet lightning zipping down to the airship and entered it.

Nobody was quick enough to follow it but knew something amazing was born inside the airship.

The elders wanted to get the natural treasure for their peak and started looking everywhere to find it.

Ken thinking this was all over was struck by what seemed like lightning in doors as farfetched as this sound he believed it.

He didn't have the energy to get up to go to bed and just went to sleep on the bathroom floor.

The next day Ken got up from his sleep wondering what he ingested last night and swearing if he found the cultivator that gave him that he would beat them up but before he could finish his thought he saw himself in the mirror and it looked like he changed again to complete his transformation.

His height didn't change in height but his posture which was skinny before changed into lean it didn't look as good as his previous in the muscle aspect but it was a good look.

The other was his violet eyes he got from his transformation changed from deep violet to bright violet ones with a sprinkle of silver and his previous white hair changed from pure white to white with a hint of silver here and there.

Ken went from cursing the man's ancestors to thanking him. Ken changed into the black robes which looked stylish he found in his closet which were mandatory according to the rule book.

Ken gathered his money and wanted to see the whole ship until the trial began in three days.
