Astrid continued sliding downwards until she got to his groin and massaged gently but his hands stopped her from continuing further.

She picked the remains of her cloth which was laying on the floor and wrapped herself with it. Giving Nathan an angry look,she vanished from his presence.

Nathan sat on his bed, burying his face in his hands.

"What have I done?" He asked himself. A feeling of guilt engulfed him. He thought of what to do to make things right. He had to apologise to her, so he thought.

He wore a simple black robe and vanished to look for her in her father's home.

He got to Astrid's home which was a gigantic storey building which housed Marcus,her father who is also leader of the vampire kindred,her twin sister Alyssia and Astrid herself. He knew he couldn't just walk into the house, Marcus wouldn't let that happen because he was a forbidden so he decided to climb through the walls and see her in her room.

He looked around in order not to be seen then he climbed the walls and got into her room through the window. He met Astrid laying on her side though he knew that she was aware of his presence.

"What have you come to do here?. To finish me off since you weren't able to do that in your room." Astrid asked, with her face still turned against him.

"It is not like Astrid. I don't know what came over me. I wasn't in my right frame of mind." He pleaded, still standing at a place.

"Because you don't love me. You would never do that to someone you love." She turned to look at him then she continued.

"She is dead Nathan. Do not blame me for what happened to her. It is nobody's fault that she died so don't take out your frustration on me."She said, as tears rolled down her cheeks.

"This has nothing to do with Helen and you know it." He said.

"Then who?I nearly died today just because you were pissed that you weren't doing it with her. I know you loved her but she went against the rules and she was killed," she said.

"Your father killed her!!!" He shouted,not able to contain his anger anymore.

"Not my father but the werewolves. The werewolves killed your precious Helen".
