Chapter 41 (the moon goddess)

FLASHBACK

Darius was a beta at that time and yet he was to battle with the leader of the Azira clan who was an alpha. Luckily for him the festival of the moon goddess was to occur seven days before the war so he sojourned to the temple to hear directly from the mouth of the moon goddess. 

It was the evening and he went into the temple. He sighted her from afar, her light filled the entire temple, she was a wonderful sight to behold. As usual, he met people kneeling at the foot of the altar bearing gifts and praying to her. But he hadn't come to pray, he had come to ask her the future of the Z clan and about the war.
