Chapter 149 (she returns)

Alma knelt down before the King and the Queen in the throne room that morning. Her face was all washed up in her own tears although there weren't any signs that she had been beaten or assaulted. And King Valerius, this time he wasn't seated on his throne but his facial expression was as one who was about to rave mad.

"Alma. You still haven't answered my question. Where in the name of the Moon Goddess is the princess? Where is my daughter?! Speak before I unleash my anger on you!" King Valerius yelled from where he stood.

"To be honest, your majesty. I don't know where she has gone. She said nothing to me. I was even shocked when I saw that she wasn't in her room. Please believe me." Alma said amidst sobs, rubbing her hands together in a pleading manner.
