Life haven't been the same for Alma since she found out the truth from Kenan. Though her heart had been broken several times by him, she couldn't help but blame herself for getting angry at him without knowing that he had a reason for doing what he did. She had been so caught up with her own emotions that she didn't know that he was suffering too. And to think that he has been suffering with the notion and knowledge that he was destined to kill his mate all his life, she felt very bitter but then she didn't know what to do.

Confusion set in as reality dawned on her that she was entangled with two men. She had already grown to be acquainted with Zachary, and it wasn't really about the acquaintancy, it was about her romantic feelings for him too. Yes, she loved him and she wondered if she was wrong for feeling that way. But despite everything, she still loved Kenan and a matter of fact, it no longer felt as if she was once angry with him, but all she could feel was pity.
