Chapter 13 (seeking answers)

Nathan lay on the bed and twirled continuously  as he engaged in a deep slumber. Beads of sweat formed on his forehead as he held onto the bed sheets tight.

"Helen!Helen!!"He called out in his sleep. He panted heavily as if he was being chased in his dream.

"No!" He yelled,and woke up from his sleep.

He frowned as he wiped the beads of sweat from his face,he looked outside the window and noticed the moon light was still shining indicating that it was still night and he had woken up earlier than usual.

He knew he needed answers,and he was determined to find the answers no matter what it takes.

Getting up from his bed,he put up his tunic and left the house.

With vampire speed, Nathan arrived at Marcus's house. He couldn't enter the house through the main door because it had protective charms against Intruders - Intruders like him, so he thought. He could only enter Astrid's room; and that could only happen if he entered through the window.
