[Warning R18: Mature themes, and smut.] + + + Thanks for stopping by! Just a heads up, this is my first time exploring the world of werewolves, but they won't be the only mythical beings in this story. The focus here will primarily be on the character growth of Aesther, and her quest for re-claiming and re-discovering herself. Romance is a secondary plot device, and once it does start to unravel, there will be some mature scenes as well. Ghost Lady

All of sudden, the cries of the the ghouls and monsters resonated loudly throughout the air. It was a cacophony of blood curdling screams, the silenced all other sounds.

Aesther snapped out of her thoughts.

"What the hell is happening?"

She got up on the roof, stunned as she caught sight of a large raging beast twitching in air like a roach being trampled upon. Then her gaze raised highers and Aesther was shocked even more.

The dull light of the rift beyond clouds was gradually closing.

"Ezrahl…" things were too bizarre to understand, Aesther glanced at him with puzzled expressions, "Do you know what's making them close?"

His gaze narrowed just a little.

"Is it the ghost lord?" Aesther looked back at the skies, "He… he is rebuilding the barrier…?"

The closing of the rift not only made its creatures howl in agony, but also caused the clouds to surge with violet thunder. They impatiently rolled around in the dark night.
