After Cassius’ attack on the Eastern vampyre coven, I retorted to assemble the elders from the four high covens. We had a meeting and decided that no one of us is capable to defeat the being in question as a result of the fact that he probably has all our powers and abilities.
We agreed that we needed the supernatural world united in order to take Cassius down. In the process of unifying the world, I found out that Cassius had also attacked and drained several other creatures of their powers.
At a high range, the only creatures who were left out were the lycans whose fate appeared to be tied to his.
Days turned into weeks and weeks into months and months into years and years into decades but there was not a sight of Cassius or his dwelling place. The lands of the lycans were covered with a barrier so strong that even the powers of the elder witches and warlocks combined couldn't take it down.
