Chapter 46: There She Is

Driving for hours, the sun starts to come up in the distance as I stare down the long road in front of me. It is a beautiful sunrise with shades orange and purple. Even a hint of pink shows through the mountainside when I drive along the asphalt, as I hope to find them before she gives birth. Or at least find them safe and sound if nothing else.

I honestly don’t think I could live another day, if I found out that she is dead. She is my heart and soul now and nothing else matters except for her and the pups. I live and die for them, and them only.
