Chapter 38: We Will Make It
“Doctor Hines, will she be alright to come home today?” I ask him quietly while concerned that something else might happen.
The only problem with this whole scenario is the last couple of days while she was in the hospital room, there have been threats on her life and the pups. So, being scared to lose her, I stayed here at her side to make sure that no one would even come near her. It worked for the most part except last night a woman came in disguised as a nurse.
