But August’s journey is far from easy. Stuck at level 12 and unable to progress past his starting village due to a rare armor shortage, August must rely on his wits and determination. As he embarks on perilous quests, faces formidable magical creatures, and uncovers hidden secrets, he discovers his potential as a true adventurer. A breakthrough comes when he retrieves a mystical purification stone from a river teeming with magical aqua beasts and uses it to cleanse an ancient, corrupted altar. His reward includes the legendary Fruit of Corruption, a priceless item with the potential to grant supernatural abilities in the real world. Caught between the allure of selling the fruit for financial security and the temptation of gaining extraordinary powers, August must make a choice that will define his and Sophia’s future... "What? A season of love

Spring It was Shrove Tuesday. Nebel had just entered the corso, already at dark, and as she unpacked a bundle of streamers, she looked at the carriage ahead. Missed from a face she hadn't seen the afternoon Previously, he asked his companions: -Who is it? She doesn't look ugly. -A demon! She is gorgeous. She think she is the niece, or something like that, of the doctor Arrizabalaga. She arrived yesterday, it seems to me ... Nébel then fixed her eyes intently on the beautiful creature. She was a still a very young girl, perhaps no more than fourteen, but completely nubile. She had, under her very dark hair, a face of supreme whiteness, of that matt white and satin that is the exclusive patrimony of very fine. Long blue eyes, losing towards the temples in the circle of his black lashes of hers. Maybe a little apart, what gives, under a forehead smooth, air of great nobility or great stubbornness. But her eyes, like this, they filled that blooming countenance with the light of her beauty. And feeling them Nebel stopped a moment in his, he was dazzled. “What a charm!” He murmured, standing still with one knee over the man. Surrey cushion. A moment later the streamers were flying towards victory. Both carriages were already linked by the bridge hanging of ribbons, and the one who caused it smiled from time to time at the gallant boy. But that already came to the lack of respect for people, coachman and even carriage: over the shoulder, head, whip, fender, streamers they rained incessantly. So much so that the two people sitting in the back They returned and, rather than smiling, examined the spender carefully. “Who are they?” Asked Nebel in a low voice. —Dr. Arrizabalaga; true that you do not know. The other is the mother of your girl ... She's the doctor's sister-in-law. As if in pursuit of the exam, Arrizabalaga and the lady smiled at each other frankly before that exuberance of youth, Nébel believed in the duty to greet them, to which the triplet responded with jovial condescension. This was the beginning of an idyll that lasted three months, and to which Nébel contributed how much adoration there was in her passionate adolescence. While She continued the privateering, and in Concordia it lasts until incredible hours, Nebel incessantly stretched his arm forward, so well that the The cuff of his shirt, detached, danced over his hand. The next day the scene was replayed; and how this time the corso was resumed at night with a battle of flowers, Nébel exhausted in a quarter of hour four huge baskets. Arrizabalaga and the lady laughed, turning often, and the young woman hardly took her eyes off Nebel. East he cast a desperate look at his empty baskets; more about him Surrey cushion there was still one left, a poor bouquet of evergreens and jasmine of the country. Nebel jumped with him over the surrey wheel, he nearly dislocated an ankle, and running to victory, panting, drenched in sweat and excitement on the surface, he handed the bouquet to the young woman. She searched recklessly another, but she didn't have it. Her companions laugh. "But crazy!" Her mother told him, pointing to her chest, "there you have one!" The carriage started at a trot. Nebel, who had come down from the stirrup, afflicted, he ran and reached for the bouquet the young woman held out to him, her body almost out of the car. Nébel had arrived three days ago from Buenos Aires, where he was finishing his baccalaureate. He had been there for seven years, so his Knowledge of the current society of Concordia was minimal. He should stay still fifteen days in his hometown, enjoyed peacefully of soul, if not of body; and lo and behold, from the second day he lost all the serenity of him.

Marry the Villain

In a previous life, Yu Lingxi was esteemed as the most beautiful woman in the capital city but was forced to be given to the Regent Prince Ning Yin. Unable to swallow this injustice, Yu Lingxi, accompanied by her guards, sought out the now destitute Ning Yin, intending to anonymously give him a beating to avenge their past grievances. However, upon arrival, she witnessed a scene where a frail young man was being pinned down and about to have his left leg broken. Mud and blood dripped down, staining his fierce and resentful eyes... Only then did she realize the extent of Ning Yin's pitiful past. Due to a twist of fate, Yu Lingxi's intention to beat someone turned into an attempt to save them. With no other choice, she took in the poor soul and endeavored to mold him into a morally upright and healthy young man. Yet, as she taught him, she noticed his gaze becoming increasingly profound and strange. "You now possess both literary and martial virtues. Hurry back to the palace and assume your position as a prince." Her smile, once gentle yet now cruel, "I, too, must prepare for marriage!" In an instant, warmth faded away. The jade hairpin, not yet given, pierced through his palm, dripping with blood. He laughed as he handed her the bloodied hairpin, his voice hoarse, almost insane, "I offer you my life as a wedding gift, how about that?" Author: 布丁琉璃 Rephrased by: nnm88 Image: AI generated

The Extraordinary Life of Rob Murray...

The folks that supposedly know all about writing, publishing and printing books said, you have to tell them a little about yourself. Actually I have in the opening chapter at least. But again this is NOT supposed to be an autobiography about me, but rather the very unique experiences of my life. Naturally, some of me will creep into the pages because of how one thing led to another and then another etc. I have left a lot of the real me personal stuff out of the book on purpose for that reason. So after retiring from the military (US Air Force) after 24 pretty good years of service, I did all sorts of things but to be honest nothing was a perfect match for me. I cooked at aanEdgartown (Martha‘s Vineyard ) restaurant for a summer, drove a taxi mainly for tourists a couple oif years, worked in retail, cooked at an assisted living place, sold carpets, wood flooring, ceramic and all that for a few years. All of that was pleasureable most days, but just not me. So in 1996, remembering my service in Iceland and the litteral paradise it was in the 70‘s and 80‘s when I served there I decided to make the move. Having an Icelandic wife, that made the immigration application and approval fairly easy. Since one necessary requirement was a full time job to get a work permit. So I took a job at of all places McDonald‘s for nearly a year. A great training ground, But Iceland, like everywhere was changing, but with all the rukles and regulations about as close to slavery as busy as it was for anyone. I did announcing, finally getting on at a radio station with a show in fact three of my own over three years. But in the closing days of the century, the station changed hands a few times , managers even more frequently and someone discovered that if you taped stuff, ran computer programs and automated most of the time, you didn‘t have to pay salaries just the electric bill. So that ended the last day of 1999 when a new contract was offerred at about half pay. I declined. Then I went into tourism for 20 years, planning personal tours for people. That was great. It‘s an incredile beautiful country, expensive to live work and visit here but VERY worth the effort, even today. 2008 wasn‘t the only crash. My overall health declined rather suddenly, with iskemic optical neropathy, partially in both eyes, type two diabeties, high blood pressure and general unsteadiness, perhaps because of everything else. So enough about the author. If you want to know more, you‘ll have to ask. So enjoy the book, I wrote it to be enjoyed.
