Chapter 7: What is Love?

It had been a week since Robin had asked me out. A long, hard week.
But it had also been one of the most productive periods of my life. Robin needed my help, needed me to save him from his loneliness. And I had found a way to do that.
I was back with Felix and his lab. Linc had come along too this time for moral support. Now that I had my friend and my oldest friend here with me, I was ready to blow both their minds with what I’d found. Hopefully not literally, but this kind of magic hadn’t been tested before.
“So, I think I’ve found a solution to all our problems,” I said, trying to hold in my excitement as I pushed one of Felix’s books across the desk towards him and Linc. “What do you think?”
The two of them peered down at the spell I had marked.
“I see the steps to perform a memory altering spell,” Felix said. “But I don’t … oh.”
