The room went quite and you could hear a pin drop.

Madam Lanzo who is very assertive immediately picked on her son's response wondering what he meant by " what gene Senior Mr. Crown carried."

Realising he has over spoken, Senior Marcus Lanzo tried to leave but this time his mother was the one who blocked the entrance.

"What exactly do you mean by your response?" Madam Lanzo asked her son, looking into his eyes.

"Mother not here." Senior Marcus Lanzo started looking for ways to get out of this mess he unconsciously created. He felt he got it all covered. He felt the truth will never come out, but right now with his mother Infront of him and the woman he couldn't get out of his head, who rejected him decades ago both staring at him waiting for the truth.

Senior Marcus Lanzo signed heavily, one of the reasons he loved Julie Crown so much was that she reminded him of his mother, they were very much alike.
