I watched as the driver murmured to himself, probably thinking where I had come from, I brought157p out a mirror from my bag, I realised that the only way I knew ti's was me was well because it is me unless I was confused, the hair and the makeup mixed well and I felt like an elegant seductress, we reached the office in a matter of time, I got out and he did too and we walked into the office together, I couldn't help but feel stares on my body and distinct murmurs, I shook my head and continued walking, I passed through a group of women and heard what one of them said," us that the boss's new girlfriend she looks pretty" she said," yes she does I love her red hair it seems so natural" another said," it could be you know how these rich people are" another commented, she took a glance at the women and continued walking, the CEO and her got into the elevator together, she scanned through her tab and her eyes shot open," sir it says here that you have a business appointment with T&T enterprises this weekend " I reported," where is it taken place" he asked," miami" I said, he didn't reply and went straight to the office,my phone rang as I got in the office I checked the caller ID it was my sister," hey" I said," hey where are you aren't you coming home" she asked " not right now I'm at work but as soon as I'm done I promise I'll come" I said," fine but don't make any stops" she warned," ok bye see you till then" I said," see you" she said and cut the call, I got back to work and hoped that the day would end quickly, I already missed my place, also the meeting kept pondering in my mind, if he was going on a trip to miami as his secretary I am needed to go with him, I could already imagine how boring it's going to be, i wondered if any exciting thing ever happened in his life, I looked up at my boss, he was typing something on his laptop, he looked graceful and ethereal in that position, so focused, I thought and snapped my self out of the trance I was going through, he's my boss, I told myself and continued working, I got off from work and this time I called a cab, I think this was something I was going to get used to, a few minutes later I was standing in front of my house when I got a call from beth.

" heyyy" I heard her loud voice from the other end,

" how are you" I asked

" I'm doing great, but I didn't call for greetings" she said

" ok then why did you call" I asked

" i got a surprise for you"

" ok what is it" I said opening the door to the house

" well I'm backkkk" she said

" since when"

" since yesterday afternoon but I was so exhausted to call soo I called today, well right now knowing that you'd be off work"

" yeah and surprising news I'm going to miami this weekend "

" you are, you could've told me earlier i need to go buy new bikinis now" she complained, I laughed

" why I didn't say we were going together" I said and all of a sudden she started screaming

"tess I know you keep things from me but this is huge"

" what" I asked confused

" if you aren't going with me that means your going with your boyfriend" I laughed when she finished, as I walked upstairs to my room

" I'm going with my boss" I explained

" even better your hot boss asked you out"

" no it's a business trip"

" oh it's a date in disguise of a trip I understand"

" I wish you didn't "

" ok I'm sending some pics of underwear for you to choose from"

" you know I'm tired now so I'll deal with you tomorrow bye" I said and hung up, I love her but sometimes I think she's too much, i took a quick bath and slept off immediately, my eyes shot up, I remembered that I had a sister, I quickly dialled her number on my phone" mia where are you" I asked, I heard music playing in the background

" I didn't tell you, Kyla invited me to a party"

" a party, this late"

" sis it's 9 I promise I'll be back before 11 don't wait up for me"

" fine but not a minute after 11 or else"

" thanks sis"she said and hung up, I laid down back and quickly slept off.

The next morning, I woke up early again, I guess it was becoming a habit now, I took a bath, got dressed and went downstairs, I thought about wearing skirts from now on, I was surprised at the scene I met, no mia, I went up to her room but there was no sign of her,I grabbed my phone and called her,no answer, now I was getting worried I didn't know what to do, then I remembered her saying she was at kyla's, I took a cab to where kyla was living, I knocked at the door and kyla opened the door, she wasn't looking to well, I wondered how she was at a party," hey kyla is mia here" I asked, she looked confused," sorry tessa but mia isn't here, she was never here" she said," what do you mean by that, mia told me she was at a party at your place" I explained, fear creeping in," uhm I shouldn't tell you this but actually she went over to trish's place" she said," what" I said," yeah she told me, she was going to his place for a party" she told me, I couldn't belive she'd lie to me," can I have his address please".
